Well I finally got a day off!!

Even if I don't have a conventional job, I also take day-off since I need days to do absolutely nothing and I won't get burned out in the process. A day-off usually offers me new perspectives and even incentives to get out of the four walls of my workplace and see something other than what I can see in a screen. Besides, it helps to interact again with more people other than the pe0ople who likely know you even before you speak. The funny thing about a day-off is that I usually plan for it but always ended up with nothing else to do. I rarely find the opportunity to have something interesting in my day off other than resting and being lazy, as usual.

I have regular day off every week. That day is my rest day I mostly spend my time watching movie at home. Wash my clothes and clean all that messed up my room. I even visit the church after the chores. And sometimes stroll at the mall.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DAY OFF!!! Hopefully it's a paid day off for you. I just had 2 consecutive days off and I can honestly say I have done literally nothing. Ran a few errands but that's about it sadly. Did not accomplish much of anything. Which, sometimes, is something we need to do (or not do, that is). I like having lazy days, they seem to be scarce. If I had another day off, I might go to the beach. Take a walk. Lay out on my lawn chair with a book. Watch some good judge shows on TV. Run errands. Who knows. Hope you had a good day off though! (As I woudl imagine it's over with by now)

I used my day off productively. I spend it with my family. I usually download latest movies and watch it with them or go driving with them. We visit big malls here and skate or just dine out. Most of the time too I watch over our family business. so its not actually resting :D or I spend it at the Red Cross.

i have two days off a week.. but its like i am off only in the office but bnot day off at home. not totally having rest as when it is my off i have to wash and iron my clothes. sometimes if i don't feel lazy at all i would iron almost all the clothes so i will not have to iron for like 2 or 3 weeks. hehe but there are times that i get bored, so i normally ask my friends to watch movie with me or play bowling or just eat outside

My husband and I would spend the whole day together on his day off. We go out to the mall or play with our dogs, drink tea together and Spend the rest of the day at home. As simple as that but it means a lot to me...

After long stressful week, when I get a day off, or when the weekend finally comes, I just stretch out on the couch, relax, and listen to my favorite music CDs. I like classical music, Chopin, Mozart, Johan Strauss, and so on, very enchanting and relaxing. When I feel refreshed, if the weather is still favorable, I might go out to the park and enjoy the pleasant surrounding.

I just had one day of my two-day off and I just drank booze with my brother, watched the movie "Chloe" and slept the entire day. Today is the second day I'm off and I'm planning to do the laundry. I'll probably do it later after I wake up.

I can never do a plan what to do on my days off. They come at different days of the week and I like it. Sometimes I just relax. But now I took my leave for the summer and I wil be free three weks! And today I went out with a family, good friends of mine. I'm so glad!

When I have a day off from school, I typically spend it being totally lazy and sleeping, haha! Because I'm in college I'm usually pulling a lot of all nighters and studying for long periods of time, so if I have free time, I make sure to rest up for the next day. Also, I like to spend time surfing the internet, reading books, or even writing. It's so nice just to have the time to sit back and relax doing whatever I feel like doing - whether it's getting things done for school or just lying around watching television, lol.

I will spend my day off in mylot. lol. I will spend it in my family having a good time. Building good bonding moments. Or I will spend it resting since its a rest day.

If you are not going anywhere out today, just try your hands on cooking something special for your daughters, and enjoy your great food. I usually do not get a day off easily, they first ask me the purpose for the off, so i always have a purpose whenever there is a off.

Surely don't spend it debating on what you should do. Be fun and whimsical. My days off are usually spent just bonding with the family. You don't have to go all out, just relax and enjoy what's around you.

Just do what anything want. Spend time with the family. Spending time together doesn't necessarily mean going out of the house. Put on a DVD that you and your kids will enjoy and sit back.Thumbs up for you walking2010, sincerely I admire working moms. Have a wonderful dayoff
