A friend posted this video to her FB and I just do not get tired of it! My daughter and I were in stitches...our favorite part is where the kitten is prancing down the hallway. Enjoy!

There is something special about a kitten/dog relationship. I always loved to watch my own cats and dogs play with each other. I had a calico cat one time that refused to let me near her but she would attack the tail of my big dog for hours on end. It was so fun to watch! My dog was always so laid back and patient with her, too.

My dog looks just like this!! This video was so cute, the dog and kitten got along so well. At times, it seemed like the dog was a playing a little too roughly but the kitten didn't seem to care at all. My favorite part was when the kitten was just sitting on top of the dog as if it were no big deal. Such a cute video.

Yes, my sister always swore by raising dogs and cats together. It tempers both of them. When she got her basenji, she made a point of finding him a kitten to grow up with. I have always done the same...I either have just cats or if I have a dog, I make sure he has a cat companion.

Yes, I agree. Animals need to be taught to be mean or encouraged to not be. Even those with natural tendencies to attack (wolf dogs) can be handled properly and attacks avoided. When a dog is raised with a cat, it tends to mellow the dog out, too. I have never had a dog without a cat there to complement him. It just makes for a better dog.
