I don't get a quiet moment at home

What is wrong with me today? I can't get my mind, my head peace down a bit. I was so aware the surrounding noises which make me not be able to concentrate. On writing, on reading, and on typing also. Is it my mind, or my heart not getting peaceful moment? I can hear my mom beating the egg; my neighbor mowing the front yard loudly; and the Television broadcasting entertainment news. What is wrong with me today? Usually, I can concentrate on what I was doing, even though my mom turn on the TV loud enough, but today, I totally lost my mind. Have this happen to you? How would you tame your head, and your mind?

I know exactly what you mean. I have had one of those days too. I laid down for a while, hoping it would be better when I got up but I could not sleep well and it is so hot outside and it makes it hot in here too.

Not only the temperature, I can't even come up any idea on writing, or get my brain work. I just can't get everything running smoothly today, what is wrong?

Maybe you should just rest for a bit and get peace of mind.
Maybe you can continue what it is you have to do the other day or if it's really important to be done immediately,
maybe you can unwind and relax for just a few hours then get back to doing that.

Ohhh friend dont worry sometime noise is also necessary in our life always silence is not good. Now I am also shouting loudly so you will beat me no no otherwise I will tell my husband hahah. If you wants concentration then you can seat in your bathroom you not read my discussion bathroom study see it. Bathroom is best place for me to do the study. Because really sometime due to lots of noise we cant concentrate on our work and then our mind is not work properly.

Yes it does. Every single day. I have lost my concentration about 3 years ago. I cannot commit to doing anything that I have to sit and concentrate on. Now, don;t get me wrong, I know I come here and post and respond, but I can do it it the spurts that I want to. I also cannot stand all the noise anymore. Like, I live right down the block from a firehouse and an ambulance depot. So, I here the sirens all day long. It drive me crazy. I try and come here late at night and post. It's a lot more quiet. I tame my head by stopping what I wanted to do and could not concentrate on and go for a walk or maybe go lay down somewhere quiet.

ooohhh... too bad you can't find quiet time when you wanted it.
there are really moments like that. there are times i experience being alone at our house and i want to have other family members in here. but when they are all here, it sometimes makes me feel stressed because of different sounds i hear from them.
yeah, sometimes, it's hard to know what to do in such situations.

I do experience this one sometimes. Your senses are all being very sensitive to your surroundings that concentration is impossible. Whenever I get into such a situation I just try to relax. Breathing exercises can help normalize my concentration same as meditation. Clearing your mind and focusing in your breathing helps eliminate all the outside forces that may cloud your mind. It is a also a good way to improve your concentration.

I think that happens to us all at one time or another. Don't worry about it, you will soon find you're head again. That is to say, it sounds to me that you just need some quiet. Maybe go take a shower, or a short walk. That should help clear you're mind and when you get back you'll feel much better.

I can certainly understand how you feel. I do have those days as well, from time to time. I have those days, when I just can't focus on what I'm doing. There are days when everything will distracting me a lot more than usual. It's really not always pleasant, when it does happen, even though it doesn't happen very often.

I think you have to relax a bit. Sometimes, when we are too busy and occupied in our daily activities, we don't find time to relax, and that's when we get unfocused and irritated.

It happens to me sometimes. I guess that is when our mind wants to rest and that it needs to relax sometimes. Because our brain can get tired too, and one of the signs is that when it isn't working will. Just rest for a while and sooner you will get back your normal concentration.
