I am curious if anyone else here is interested in the new Marvel anime shows. Marvel teamed up with Madhouse productions to introduce 4 12 episode anime series. These series are Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade. I have seen the majority of them with english subtitles and must say that I am rather impressed with the adaptations. The only one I'm a little wavering on is Wolverine, but it is good in its own right.
I am a little upset that they will be appearing on G4 with english dubbing, but am fairly sure that they will be on the marvel website shortly after airing. I am upset by the channel because I simply do not have access to it with my cable provider.
Are any of you in MyLot land interested in these four series? If you are not then that is understandable as well. I'm just a huge comic fan and trying to share that love. I mean I even have the Japanese live action Spider-Man show so come on now :).
Until next time, peace out

I enjoy the artwork as well. As far as the link of course I do keep in mind it is just subtitled right now. This is also a good site for the others and many many other shows LOL. www.animefreak.tv/watch/blade-episode-1-onlline

As a fan of Marvel's cartoons and characters, I was disappointed in Super Hero Squad Show but the Marvel anime looks interesting. I will take a look at them when they air on television. It will take me some time to get used to Wolverine due to the large change to his appearance.

Yeah Superhero Squad Show mainly targeted little kids with it's fart jokes and overacting characters. It was kinda off a miss for me but hey the kids love it LOL. Yeah that Wolverine look is very off putting at first LOL

Hi Reverend!
I've been seeing news and features about these marvel animes in my Facebook because I'm subscribed to a page that features such.
Actually, it's interesting to see marvel superheroes get turn into Japanese animation. I'm really happy to see this because I am both fan of anime and marvel superheroes (but not all). But I have not seen any full episodes of Wolverine, Iron Man, X-men and Blade though I want to. I just don't know where to download them. :p But I've seen trailers and I think they're good. I would love to watch them all.
Cheers. ^^

I have watched the first two episodes of Iron Man and Wolverine now on G4 and while I do oh so love the work of the person who came up with the original story of the works (Warren Ellis) I am not really digging either story. Of the two Iron Man had the more interesting first episode I thought, it set up some good possible drama and focused on the politics and technology angle, though the second episode wasn't as strong I thought. Wolverine focused a bit too much on his love in Japan which is really the most over done story for him. None of the characters feel right for me, and the voice for Wolverine is really wrong too, it isn't deep and gruff enough in my opinion. I do hope Iron Man returns to its strengths come the third episode, not sure if the other two shows have already aired/will air soon or not, may check them out though.

I'm not really interested about the anime remake. But I watched X men and Wolverine, it is really good. I thought I'm not going to like it but I enjoyed watching it. I'm still not yet done with Blade and Iron Man but I'll probably watch it as well.

I can understand you stance on that. I was a little reluctant on a couple of them. They are a little bit different on both ends. Not quite like the comics and not totally anime like soo it is a little weird.
