I checked my wallet this morning and I saw 2 one dollar bills there, we don't use dollar here in my country, we use peso so i keep the dollar in my pocket as decoration, then I saw my boss counting a different pastel colored money, I am sure not a peso and then I picked what he just put at the top of the table, its cute, its Singaporean Dollars, and I appreciate it so much and I can;t resist, I asked him to give me some, I wanted to keep it I said, so he gave me one 10 Singapoeran Dollar and One 2 Singaporean Dollar and I am so excited to keep them, I placed it in my Book and I decided to have a lot of different kind of money and keep it as decorations :)... I am not really a collector for some stuff just for my eyes, because i find collecting "collectors item" weird and expensive, but this one i decided to start collecting at least when i get tired of collecting them i could trade them into my own currency :), but i think not soon I'll try to preserve them. How bout you?

My husband and I collect currency from all of the places we've visited, just for fun. It is a fun hobby, especially if you are just collecting old change or small bills and are not spending money to buy money! And who knows, maybe we'll make money on this hobby--I'm sure our euros are worth more now than when we got them!

hahaha, from the last time I check its more than 60.00 Philippine peso HEre in my country, keep on earning I think it's better to collect money rather than anything...well that's how i see, but I just don't know if other countries change the appearance of their moneys too, and if they're still going to accept the old one if ever..

I am not a collector as well but like you i used to get amazed by the different currencies all over the world. I had money from Pakistan before, Korean money, Pounds, Dollars, Singaporean as well and a lot more. But i haven't kept all of them and i wonder where they all went now?

I think collecting anything is an interesting and fun hobby not to mention that many times, the items people collect rise in value over time. Money is one of them. It might be nice to enhance your collection with coins also. Coins do increase in value if you can keep them in good condition. Good luck. Perhaps your grandchildren or great grandchildren might get rich from your collection. lol
