I live in Europe in a country called England. I liked it because it is near to many other European countries like France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland. I used to be able to get cheap flights and in those years I lived nearer to the London Airports. My best value flights were the Maldives in 2005 and Mexico in 2006. I traveled around the world when I was 20 to 21 years old. I have been to Africa, the Americas, Asia and Australasia. Which continent do you live in? What do you like about that continent? Have you traveled to another continent? If so which one?

I am from the continent of Asia, would love to travel around Europe but i have to save a lot of money for it coz it's gonna be expensive. I haven't traveled outside of my country yet but hopefully i'd be able to do that soon. I'd love to visit London and drop by Aylesbury. There's someone i'd love to meet from there.

It is wonderful that you live in Asia in a country that has tropical weather. Good luck with saving up lots of money so you can travel to London and visit the person you know in Aylesbury. There is much to see and enjoy in your home country.

I am an asian. But being a marine engineer i get the chance to sail across whole world. I have been to many european countries. I have been to far east like korea and japan, i have crossed the notorious gulf of aden. All in all i have sailed in 4 oceans and 7 seas. I have seen the wild untouched nature. And i totally loved the experience.

It is excellent that as a marine engineer you get to sail across the whole world. I really enjoyed hearing about all your sights on your travels and it is superb that you are keen on nature. Crossing the Gulf of Aden must have been rather scary.

When I lived in England it was an island, which was very much appreciated. The rest of the continent didn't want us and we didn't want them! Charles de Gaulle eventually stopped saying, "Je me dit Non!" and there we were, suddenly Europeans! So to answer your questions: I live in Europe but don't like it at all. I have lived in Asia which really should be two distinct continents. North Asia, i.e. the ex-Soviet Union is a very pleasant although extremely varied continent. South of the Himalayas are the "surprising" countries for want of a better word. Often frustrating, but always interesting! And haven't I seen this discussion before?

Yes, England was an island when I was growing up. Then all this changed when they built the channel Tunnel. Now we are very much Europeans. I still love countries like Australia and New Zealand which are both wonderful places to live. It is a shame that you don't like living in Europe. One day I would like to visit Russia and what a huge country it is. It could be a similar discussion.

I hope that you will one day find a flight to Europe that you can afford. It is lovely that you live in Asia. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere with tropical weather like the Philippines.

You came in Africa, did you get a chance to come in my country Kenya? If you didn't then I guess you missed to visit the heart of Africa. Kenya is located in East Africa, surrounded by Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania. We also share a border with Somalia and of-coarse the Indian ocean. Our national language is Swahili and English being the official language. By combining the two languages and a mixture of other languages spoken by different tribes in Kenya, a third language has emerged (sheng)- though mostly spoken by the urban youth, has found its roots in rural villages too. If I get a chance to travel out-side my continent, then my favorite destination will definitely be the Philippines. I think we have so many things in common with this country and it won't take much time for make me feel at home.

Yes, I visited Kenya when I was in my mid twenties. I was worried about the possibility of catching Malaria there. I went to Nairobi, Mombasa, the Masai Mara and Lake Nakaru. On a trip in my thirties I got Air Kenya to the Seychelles via Nairobi. I hope that you will get to visit the Philippines some time in the future.

I too live in Europe and also like being near to Europe as I like to enjoy short city breaks. I have tarvelled to America, asis and Africa but, have yet to get as far as Australasia! I too have had some good deals on flights although my closest airport is Manchester so sometimes flights are not always as easily available to certain places like they are from London.

I think it would be really cool to live in Europe and to be able to travel to all of the surrounding countries! I live in North America and haven't unfortunately traveled outside of this continent. I have been out of country to Canada and have done lots of traveling throughout the U.S. I love traveling and hope to make it to Europe someday actually!

I know that North America is huge so therefore it is understandable to you have just been in the USA and Canada. I have visited lovey America three times: to California and Hawaii. I would like to go to the East Coast next time. I went to beautiful British Colombia last year. I loved going to the city of Vancouver. I hope that you have the chance to go to Europe one day soon.

Hi! I live in one of the 7,100 islands of the Philippine archipelago, a republic in Asia. What I really like about Asia is its diverse and colorful culture. Asia is built by traditions and sustained by technology. No, I haven't been to any other continent but I would love to travel Europe, especially Prague and Barcelona.

I live in Canada and the flights here are so expensive. I was looking to go from Ottawa (the capital) to Toronto (where I live) which is about a 4h car ride in the same province and it cost me 500 dollars both ways. it's ridiculous! so needless to say i don't travel much. I have been to europe twice - to France twice and Belgium twice. I plan on going back to school in England for one of my masters degrees and hopefully live in Europe. You guys are so lucky to have a great transportation system and cheap flights. The gas taxes / taxes in general in Canada make everything super expensive.

I am shocked to hear the cost of a flight from Ottawa to Toronto. They are in the same country and not all that far apart. I went on a trip to lovely Canada last year. On the trains aged 2 is the child fare in Canada. In my home country on trains the child age is 5 years old. It is excellent that you have been to Europe twice . I hope that you will have a great time studying in England. It is such a shame when traveling is very pricey.
