I was an only child growing up. I would have to say for the pros I didnt annoy my parents by arguing with a sibling, I didnt have to share anything, If I wanted mommy or daddy time I got it when I wanted it as for the cons those would be I got bored easily if my friend down the street wasnt home, I didnt have a sibling comfort my tears or fears when I got older and I got into an arguement with a friend or my parents. As for having more then just one child I have 4 children. The pros of having more then 1 child is, there is never and I mean never a dull moment, If one child is not happy there at least one that is and has a smile on their face, if friends arent available for play time they can play with each other and amuse one another, if one is sad or upset another sibling is wanting to know what happened. As for the cons, the fighting, arguing, constant battles with whos doing what this time around like setting the table, putting the dishes away, helping with laundry. So there is always pros and cons to having just 1 child or more then just one child.

I have no children yet but I'm guessing the financial stability of the family will be affected when it comes to the number of children they have. It the parents know careful financial planning then they wouldn't have any problem about it.

I had one brother growing up and honestly we couldn't stand each other. I have one daughter but I would like to have one more. I think having more than one gives the other one someone to play with if they like each other. But having only one you have more time to spend with the child and more money. I deffinatly dont want more than 2. I think it is too expensive to have more than that.
