I really want to know are we all looking for money or flexibility? What are the benefits of working at home? Are you making enough? I have posted discussion of online making money dozen times but I am not getting a satisfaction answer. Can anyone let me know now. Thanks

I come online every day to work, pick up email, check the bank, see what my friends are up to on their various feeds and a bunch of other stuff. Half my life is online these days. As for the earning questions, I think your main problem is asking general questions. Every time you ask "are you earning?" or "what ways are there to earn?" you get a lot of responses that don't really say anything because the question's too general. Yes, you can earn a decent wage online (no matter how often Petersum is negative and doesn't believe it!). It takes work. You need to figure out what you want to do. You can't just pop online and expect to make some easy cash - you couldn't do that in the "real" world, there's no reason you can online. If you ask more specific questions, you'll get better answers, I think. There's no simple response, so you need to dig deeper in the areas that interest you. My opinion, anyway.

I make extra money online because a little bit of extra money helps the budget. I actually have a job that I work partially from home and partially out of the home. So the money I make online is used to buy small things we might need. Before we finished paying off our debt, it was used to make extra debt payments. It just makes things a little bit easier, because it's hard to go for a really long time without spending money on anything other than food, but that is kind of all we can afford to do because we are trying to save up a down payment. I don't think you'll find an answer because everyone has different ways and reasons for working and making money.

are we all looking for money or flexibility? It would be nice if we could have both, isn't it? What are the benefits of working at home? Flexibility, convenience, personal freedom. Are you making enough? It's always not enough. It would be nice if there are extras. There is never any satisfaction in life when it comes to money. Everyone has to work hard in order to get it.

What motivates us to come online everyday is because we are not satisfied with what we have and if we make online money and we invest it we would not have to come online everyday but because when we make money online we use it for consumption so we are used to the liabilities and we forget that the joy of money is short lived. If you want to know more I can refer you to Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

I spent 2 years looking for good earning on line and all I found were pretty much scams. I think it's a waste of energy.

You aren't getting a satisfactory answer because there isn't one. Everyone is looking to earn online but no one is willing to pay for nothing! You have to work, produce a product or service that other people want, or do something that is worth paying for. But you don't have those things, do you? So, you are not going to be paid. It's that simple. Not the satisfactory answer you wanted? Life isn't satisfactory!

Man, you're always so negative about earning online, Petersum! You don't have to pay for anything (except with time and effort, like a normal job) to earn a decent wage online. The work's out there. The opportunities are out there. Just like in real life, everyone can find something they can do. No need to be so down on it.

I am motivated by making money, helping friends and socializing. I also have to write and that can sometimes feel like work but it is on my terms. I have found a fw clients that I mesh well with and all of the other things that I do I love. Follow your passions, that's the key. As the famous Joseph Campbell said, "Follow your bliss."

I don't work at home. I only make some extra money online, because I'm a student and sometimes I want to buy some things with my own money. I really don't have much time to spend on the internet, so, I could win some more money.
