What are your best moments in life?

Best moments in our journey in life are our strength and inspiration to keep going and never giving up. These best moments in our life that we share also help others see the good and positive outlook in their own life and take it also as an inspiration. Here are what I consider some of the best moments in life. They are simple and little things, but they always bring that smile and heartwarming feeling:
Lying in bed listening to rain outside.
Waking up in the morning and realize it's still possible to sleep for another couple of hours.
To laugh at yourself looking at the mirror.
Just eating your favorite food on a whim.
A long drive on a calm road.
Drinking coffee with our closest group of friends.
Finding money in your old jeans just when you need it.
Watching movie with your siblings or best buddy.
Holding hands with someone special.
Getting a hug from someone who loves you.
The moment your eyes fill with tears after a great laugh.
What are your best moments? No matter how simple they are, as long as they bring a smile to your face, aren't they just heartwarming?

My best moments in life is when my special someone said "I love you" on my ears! It's the best moment for me because for our long years in a relationship I just heard that 5 times before but not now!And I really want to hear that from him again and again....

Wow, I can really feel that this memory is really special to you. Your special someone must really treasure you because he does not take these words lightly. He must have show the meaning of the words more than he says it. But he tells you when you least expect it. That must have been really sweet. It makes me remember a line from Moulin Rouge: the greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return. :)

Hi wawicarmz,
My best moment in life is when i babysit for somebody else. The baby is under my care for a short period. When she is awake and playful, we stare at each other eye to eye and then i encourage a smile from her small lips. The twinkle in her eyes and the smile on her lips is reward enough for any tired person all day.

I agree with you there too. During the summer holidays, I usually babysit my nephew. It makes you remember how it feels to just play and release your inner child. The simple cute things that little ones do are so adorable. :)

Thank you so much for this discussion - it brought a smile to my face because so many of the moments you mentioned are absolutely my greatest moments in life as well. Whats wonderful is how happy such little things are able to make you! For me, one of the greatest things is just waking up in the morning to see the rays of sunshine pouring through the trees, or to hear the birds singing so beautifully in the morning as I'm getting ready for work. Ah, the simple things in life..

That is so great that this discussion is able to make you smile. Yes, the little things make up the big things that we enjoy in our life. I agree, waking up every morning to greet the world is an everyday miracle that we are still able to experience being alive. :)

If you ask me this question, I will say that every single moment I am with my girlfriend. I keep planning to spend more and more time with her.
What could be better than a morning when you wake up and find the girl of your dreams is watching you lying on your arm and smiles back at you asking" you had a nice sleep?" Some moments are breath taking in life and in mine life most of them are when she is there.

Wow, that is so nice to hear. It makes us girls feel really special to hear that someone is happy simply because we are here. Your girlfriend is very lucky to have someone like you who treasures her. :)

I would like to add the following in the above list.
--The moment you fell in love, approached her and she gave a positive response.
--The moment when you handed over your first salary or a gift from your first salary to your parents.
--The moment you became father/mother and first show your baby.

My best moments in life are the unexpected moments - I think I made a big mistake and then everything works out. I wonder how I'm going to afford Christmas presents and then my neighbors surprise me. The day starts out rotten, but ends with a bright bang. Or I think I am having something common for dinner, only to find it's my favorite dinner. :)

That is so true. Just when you feel like you are having the worst day, the day makes a turn, and we end up having the best days. The best surprise is when we are given an opportunity when we least expect it. And it sure gives a boost in our confidence. :)
