Just curious.
I was listening to Jennifer Lopez's song a while ago, entitled "Should've Never." The chorus went something like this:
Should've never told you..
that I cared about you..
Didn't think that it would be so bad..
Should've never kissed you..
Should've never held your hand..
Got to find a way to let these feelings go..
For some reason, I feel like I can relate with the song because I'm crushing on this particular guy right now at work. He's my boss. Well actually, I think it's more than a crush, because I also care about him. Like when he got sick one time and his voice sounded horrible on the phone because of a bad cough, I got a little worried and even bought him a bottle of vitamin C! I never gave him the vitamins though. I was too shy. :/
Well, anyway, my feelings for him are only getting stronger every time I see him. So I think I may come to a point where I won't be able to keep all this to myself anymore and spill it all out to him. Do you think I would regret it if I told him about my real feelings, just like the lyrics of J. Lo's song? 'Coz right now, I think I would be proud of myself if I really did that. I think that would be a brave and sincere act.
What do you guys think? Has anyone of you ever told someone that you cared about them and then regretted it afterwards?

Yes I have. I once told a guy I cared about him and respected him. This was not a lie. I just did not mean it in a romantic kind of was, at least not yet. After that I told him, he went overboard. He gave me the key to his house. When we were out I had to stand beside him (!) and not leave his side. He would always keep asking what I did with whom, where we had gone... It was toooooo much! Too soon!
So after that my love never really developed in a romantic way and the friendship did not last either. Maybe I should have waited but I guess even if I had waited, he probably would have acted the same.
Well, better to regret something you did than something you did not do! Better to regret telling someone you love him than regret not telling him (for example he runs of with another woman).

Nope. Never.
I don't like to rush things especially when it comes to emotions. I let it settle for a long while before I become vocal about them. I think and feel long and hard, if what I'm feeling is genuine. I try to be patient and be sure first...
