My first two memos.

Yes. My first TWO memos. LOL. After each of us has done something with our assigned projects, everything is inspected with the person who's assigned for quality assurance. and she has found 5 major mistakes in my two projects. The memo was given to me this morning by our Supervisor and somehow - all myenergy for today fizzled and evaporated. I was so down and disappointed that I feel like crying. Everyone around me - who was ahead of me reassured me that it's okay and it's normal because they all went through what just happened to me. They tried consoling me and I appreciated my new comrades because they are very kind. My Supervisor told me that we'll have a talk later. Just to let me know about some things and probably will help me with my work. One officemate, her name is Rachel, just came in my station. Just to check on me. She's a very sweet friend to think that we just knew each other for days. She told me that if I didn't make those mistakes - then I am not growing up and is not allowing any room for improvement. She told me that the very first time she saw me when we were introduced - she saw the potential in me and even assured me that she'll help me whatever she can so that Ican improve with my projects. Today, July 29th, these first two memos will be honored as a reminder that I am human. Everyone makes mistakes and that I should accept them (my 2 memos) like a good sport because in the end, the learnings will benefit me. I pray that in the next days, I will improve my work. I hope you'll pray for me also. And bear with the ranting here. I just need to let this all out.

Your friend is correct, we learn from our mistakes isn't it? Bedsides, you are new to the job and you still have to adjust and get familiar with your co-workers and your projects too. It is not bad to talk to your supervisor to discuss the things needed to improve your project. Follow her advices and apply it to your work. In just a short time if you will not receive a memo anymore. Just keep going. Good luck.
