Today I've planned to focus on posting and responding discussions so that I will reach my payout but terrible things subsequently happened. I will only mentioned the worst one to make the story short. Today is the speaking schedule of our 5 students who will take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)exam, one of them is Ria. She has a twin but wonder if bad luck is also her twin. The story goes like this... When she submitted her IELTS application on the deadline she didn't make it cause she forgot to comply all the requirements but still lucky cause I already informed the British council that her application will be send the following day but since the following day is Sunday the courier will deliver it on Monday. Now I'm confident that every application is okay. Then suddenly the British council called us by Tuesday informing us that she cannot take the examination this coming July 30 since there is no available slot left for her. But since I already informed them about it her slot was reserved and found out that there was a simple miscommunication of the staff. Everything went out well. But today July 29 something terrible happen again. Supposedly today is her speaking exam for IELTS but she can't take the examination since she did not bring her passport with her. It's the only a supporting document she have to bring in order to take the exam but she gave it to her in the agency where she work.British council gave her until tomorrow morning at 8:00 am to present her it if not farewell to her P8,640 examination fee.Huuhh today is such a tough day for us. I just pray that she can get her passport in Manila tonight.
Do you think she will be lucky this time or not? How about you how was your day today? Are lucky or unlucky?

She's really lucky, but let's hope she can make it again this time.
That's really bad that she did not completed all the requirements.
Is she not aware that she will be needing her passport for that exam?
Or,she's too confident that she will not be needing those documents right away.
If she is expecting and filed for this application she should readied everything that she might be needing.
Now she's into cramming...let's hope she can make it again.
have a great weekend

I don't want to blame her cause I understand that she was really busy then. I always reminded her to comply the requirements but still she even forgot on the deadline day. I told her when she submitted the requirements that I only need the xerox copy of her passport but I never come to my senses that she has been thinking that she would be to bringing the xerox of her passport during the examination day, she did not made it clear to me that she is going to submit her original passport to her agency when she will be signing the contract. I realized we also have a miscommunication. If she was able to comply her requirements earlier than the deadline maybe we could have prevented that from happening. I just pray that she will be just relaxed today while she is taking her listening, reading and writing examination. I hope that her exam wont be affected with what we has undergone yesterday. I wish she will be the luckiest lady after all the bad luck she had encountered.

hi mac,
that story is very stressful. always it is a must to have your passport around or near you everytime you see some officers in foreign offices and especially when there is an exam. requirements should have been readied before then.
hope ria is able to get it.

Indeed. I was very stressed yesterday. I've been thinking of my payout here, Ria's examination and our upcoming BLS training(Basic life support)cause we don't have enough student in order for the training to run but I still have 6 days to do the marketing stuff. It's not necessary to bring her passport she can use other ID's like SSS,PRC and ect but since it's the document she submitted for her identification of course during the exam she has to bring it. Last Thursday before she left the center I told and reminded her to bring her passport to the examination cause they will ask it from her.
