long distance relationship

i am just new here in my lot but i can see quite few post/discussions about long distance relationship, some are successful some don't believe in it.
Again i would like to share another poem i wrote, about me being in long distance relationship
Though we have each others heart
It's so hard that we are apart
You're there, while I am here
How i want you with me to be near
As I look up in the sky
I started asking myself why
Why do we have to be far from each other
Though what we wanted was to be together
It's so hard to be far from you
Everyday makes me feel blue
To be happy, I always try
But I just can't help but to cry
This loneliness inside that i feel
No one else but you can make it heal
One of us might give up, that I fear
Thinking of it, makes me shed a tear
But i won't let the distance
Kill our love in a glance
My love for you was like a stain
Forever in my heart you will remain
I hope you like it guys, especially those who are in long distance relationship now.. share what's your love story :D

You're a really good writer in romantic poetry. I used to write a lot of those, but I've encountered experiences that caused me to stop due to emotional "brain drain". Keep up the good work! :)

ouch..sad to hear that. it happened to me also that i can no longer write as i am not inspired anymore, so what i did i am writing poems based on my friends experiences, sad though, after giving the poems to them i didn't keep a copy for myself. hehe
nways i am sure that emotional "brain drain" you're experiencing will soon vanish ;)

Thank you very much for your encouragement! I hope that no matter what happens, we can always be inspired by the bright colors that shine in our life, whether it is about love, friendship and even problems which helps us grow stronger. :) Hehe, speaking of not keeping a copy of poetry works, we're in the same boat!
