To achieve the healthy functioning of our body, is important to be always hydrated, that is, the losses of our daily requirements of water must be covered. Proper hydration will achieve the proper functioning of our body. On the contrary, dehydration can cause physical fatigue and muscle pain. To be properly hydrated you have to consume a liter of water per kilo of food. Do not wait until you are thirsty to drink water.

Water - the very source of life. For health reason, we have to drink a lot of water everyday. Drinking a lot of it will surely flush toxins from our system. For example, most of us, for some reasons, are suffering from kidney problem with some small stones stuck in the organ. By drinking a lot of water, especially until your urine is crystal clear, tiny stones from our kidney will be flushed out thru our urine.

I have to say that I don't drink enough water. I don't drink anywhere near the amount that I should be drinking. I will drink water occasionally from time to time. I will make the effort, but it's still no where near the amount that I should. It's definitely a habit that I want to break. I definitely want to try and drink more water, as it's a healthy habit to have.

Previously I don't like water at all unless if I am very thirsty. Depression made me fill up my emptiness with water. I drinkk 3-4 glasses a day to 8 glasses and now 13-14 glasses a day if that day was very hot. I also take bath twice every day. I hate hot weather.

Hi Rick, I hardly drink 3 litres of water than normally we should take. When it comes summer, I take excess amount of water, but other seasons, i dont take more. However taking proper quantity of water is good for all functions of body.

I can't live without water, I drink more than 6 liters in a day and I'm still thristy. I hope this is not some kind of symptom for a disease though but a lot of people tell me that I drink a lot of water more than a regular person would drink in a day.

That is the most problem in me now i never drink lot of water this time coz i like coffee and sometimes i forget to drink water right after my coffee break. Maybe this is the cause of my pain now and hard to urinate. And because i hate to go comfort room everytime i feel to urinate so i prefer not to drink always. But by this time i will drink always for my good health and for good of my body also.

I used to didn't drink a lot of water, but now I drink about close to 2 gallons a day (almost 8 liters). I was told to drink one ounce per kilogram of your weight. I usually buy a gallon jug and drink out of it during the day, but the more active I got, and the more my body consumed everything (I am building muscle so it is growing), the easier it was to drink a gallon (4 liters). I didn't start drinking entire jugs, but now because I can drink one in minutes instead of hours, that it the only way I basically drink water. I hate drinking out of glasses, and buying bottled water now because it is not enough. Usually because stores don't sell these things cold, I buy a few and store them in the freezer, so when I leave out, I can have cold jugs to work on while I am gone. I get looks and stares, and jokes (especially about me causing a drought), but that is fine with me.

This is definitely right. A lot of members have been posting discussions about drinking water as often as we can to replenish those that are lost especially on a hot summer day.
I always believe it's health to drink clean water all the time but I hate going to the the toilet often.

yes, water is essential to living beings. Excessive water is not detrimental to the functioning of our body. For me, I usually drink water in three time slots: morning, feeling thirsty, before dinner. Your body needs water in the first two slots, and drinking water before dinner can contribute to the digestion of your stomach. That's all my personal experience.

Well i have read a lot that one should drink enough amount of water in a day.
But to be honest to myself i drink only 3 or 4 glass a day.
I know i need to have more per day but i simply ignore.
I have to improve upon this.

i tend to drink herbal tea, rather than water. about three or four cups a day, i think, depending on what i'm doing.
though i also eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, which contain water.
though when i eat less, i find i want to drink more.

A lot of health problems will be solved by just drinking a lot of water, and we don't have to suffer by undergoing the knife procedure.

I try to drink as much as I can, but I still always have the feeling that I didn't drink enough. I would say around 3 litres a day, but I live in a very warm climate, so maybe that's why I still should drink more.
