Second cat

Has anyone had a cat and at one point decided to get another one? How did you go about it? Has it been a problem? A friend thinks about having a second cat, she has a female one. Is it important what you get as a second one? Any dedvice?

I've had a cat before but it was crushed when my father was backing out the garage to pull the car out of it. The poor cat got his head crushed. If you're talking about pu-ssies, that's a different thing. See, I eat pu-ssies and I love pu-ssies.
