My favorite book is The Bean Trees. A book about a young women who leaves her small town in Kentucky and goes west. Along the way, she meets new friends that help here along the way. Although at first it sounded cheesy to me when I first picked it up, I was hooked in by the first paragraph (not kidding). I was very surprised at myself because I wasn't your usual book-worm. I just was intrigued by the concept, the plot, and the whole aspect of how she created a new person out of herself.

I have no any choice about books. Because I don’t have any favorite books. I like every type of books. I like books about computer, technology, comics, action, fantasy etc. so my choice is very different. And I always read every kind of books. But some peoples like selected types of books.

For a long time, and for the most part even now, I like to read fiction, genre suspense, thrillers, or horrors. But lately I have also been enjoying the occasional nonfiction animal story (I would def. recommend Marley and Me and Homers Odyssey). I have a few more of those true animal stories sitting on my shelf, waiting for their turn to be read.
I don't have ONE favorite book, but here are a few that I would highly recommend to people: Under The Dome-Stephen King, Watchers-Dean Koontz, Crazy For You-Jennifer Cruise, Rose Madder-Stephen King, Bad Men-John Connelly).

I have not heard of Lightning, but I love Intensity. I've read Intensity twice, and I also have the movie version on DVD. I think it's a very good movie for being a straight to tv movie. It follows the book quite closely, with few changes.
I haven't seen the movie Watchers yet, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy it. I have only read about the movie, and I think already I can tell they have changed SO MUCH. First of all, the lead is no longer a man, but a young boy! That already changes SO MUCH. Including my favorite scenes, the ones involving the stalker. I just think they are so creepy and well written, but they aren't included in the movie, tsk tsk!

I like mysteries, and my favorite author is Mary Higgins Clark. Since I;'m retired, I can read whenever I like, just so long as I get meals on the table.

I don't really have one favorite book, instead I have several. I tend to like to read new books all the time, and rarely go back to old ones I have already read before. I read a lot of non fiction, because then I also learn something while I am reading, and I also like murder mystery books, like Harlan Coben's books and Agatha Christie's books, so I guess non fiction and those kind of books would be my favorites.

I like reading classical novels, and I do have many favorite books. Charles Dickens' novels, Leo Tolstoy's novels, and more. I do keep a collection of my favorites, and read them whenever I have the time for reading. Not as many as I used to read before, though.

My favorite books are Lord of the rings trilogy and Sword of Truth. Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth is where Legend of the Seeker series was based. I'm a fan of Anne Rice and Dan Brown as well.

My favorite book is "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Peele.
Apparently, it's a self-help book but this self-help is actually bible-based
which makes it the Christian version of The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
Obviously, I am interested in reading self-help books or book for heart, mind, and body.
