A simple letter from my son that make me unable to hold on to my tears while reading.
Dear Daddy,
I wish you could go back home. Give me chocolate when you get back. I will study hard now. I will take care of mommy. I will try to have the 1st rank in school. Sorry daddy if I don't study hard last year so I get low rank but still an achiever. Thanks Dad that you gave the best education I need. Thank you that you give me all I want. Love you and Miss you Dad.
Love,
Michael

This is very touching. Little notes of saying "thank you" and " i love you" from children will really touch a parent's heart and can't help but cry. Knowing how they appreciate the presence of their parents won't give their parent's second thoughts of aiming and working hard for them. Notes/letters like this will serve as an inspiration, especially for parents working miles away from their family.

Thanks Xuyxuy... I have made his letter as my desktop background to remind me that they (my wife and son) are the reason why I am here and working so hard.

That is so sweet! That will make me cry too. This little things by our children are priceless. To think that he is a boy. I think boys are hard to express their feelings. My boys are not showy when showing affection to me. Like when I kiss them in public. I hope you keep that letter of your son. Treasure it. :) If your wife is is scrapbooking, have her keep the letter.
