Hello Lotters,
Well, if there is such a situation happening right now, I doubt mylot will be paying us on schedule. But you know, problems may be little affecting mylot but we don't know. I mean, mylot doesn't mention how they pay us despite that we only know that it's their advertisers that sources our pay out. we never bother to asked if they are affected by this crisis since I wasn't paying attention to it in the past.
Or maybe this is just another spontaneous exaggeration coming from the MEDIA like CNN alike because I know US has faced this kind of trouble and recently found out that Japan had this situation before on the 90's. well, what ever happens in the next few days there, I hope the company or group of companies involve the control of MYLOT wouldn't be affected by the crisis.
Ever prayed mylot shouldn't go broke?

Although I have been following the debt issue in a somewhat hap-hazard manner, I really don't know politics, so I won't touch that one. I will say however that Mylot is safe and sound and will be paying on schedule. We are making money, so you will still be making money.

I disagree. I DON'T doubt mylot will be paying on time. I noticed a hiccup with the updates but that may be admin related. The payouts seem to be done via computer just like if you have auto-pay bills generated and paid automatically.
I'm sure that any concerns you have are huge exaggerations inflated by the media - can't trust any of THEM you know. They make a big deal out of nothing and then don't even mention things that might actually be important. I have learned that whatever I hear the MOST about in the media is usually of LEAST importance.

Hello Mommyboo,
I didn't say mylot is in trouble or anything. well, the admin has said his side and i am more confident in that now than before. Yes, am sure they can't really be trusted since all they want is to exaggerate the news to make people worried and distrust the government. I feel sad about this situation though but at least mylot is holding out strong. have a nice day.

Well Mylot seems to still be going strong, so I don't think we'll be having to say goodbye to it anytime soon. If it does though it won't be as much a loss to me as it would have been. I now have a job, for which I am greatful, and mylot will be my "back burner earner". I am hoping that mylot thrives and stays strong, I am certain they have backup plans.

Hi.LK. It is scary no doubt. We non US citizens can only be wondering what will happen to our dependence on US economy or more correctly its liquidity. I think the tribe of politicians are all the same all over the world. Even if the President of US will try to avert the crisis the opposition will try to let him down for their own selfish objectives disregarding the public at large. Let us all hope the crisis will be over soon otherwise the repercussions could be unimaginable.

Hello hanuma, Sometimes I wonder if him being black or his so called controversial birth certificate is one of the reasons why they are pinning him down so much but I think it's still the economy that makes people do the blame game in other places. If the economy there goes worse and mylto stops paying, there's nothing we can do. but the admin made his post early and it's an assurance. have a nice day.

If there's one thing that brought a smile to my face today it's GAA's assurance about the sitealthough we all pretty damn well know how bad the U.S. economy is, my god it could be worst than "the day the bubble burst" and how dire the consequences could be not just for them but for the rest of us living in the free world. Worrying and speculating I think won't help or do us any good, nothing much we can all do now but to sit back and wait and hope that their leadership would come up with the best solution to the problem.

Hello Louievill, Yeah am glad he did his time and respond to this discussion because it could increase the worries of some mylotters here. well, am pretty sure some companies are not affect and let's hope that mylot is one of them because if it is then it causes trouble. anyways, speculating will only cause paranoia, have a nice day my friend.

The US DebtCrisis has nothing to do with mylot at all. Mylot is not a government run company, so they are not effected by that at all.

Hello Digital, Well, it is only a private company indeed and not something else besides just being just a social earning provider. but you know private companies can also have an effect on it's so called debt crisis on the government spending so much. Have a nice day.

Hello venigalla, I don't understand what can be earned, except that you have to post a lot more than you should. And considering that you need to put quality post into it. it would be a lot faster if you are more active, this isn't a quick earning scheme. have a nice day.

Hurray, we are safe! I've just checked the BBC's site and here is the breaking news:
"The US House of Representatives has passed a last-minute deal to avoid a federal debt default."
Not that I didn't believe the assurances from myLot, but it's better to know that the crisis is over:))
