New Facebook chat is annoying

I totally agree with you. Although it looks good but its not that great at all. The facebook team should do something about it.

Then I say don't use facebook chat actually ON facebook. Now you can use almost any existing multi-platform messanger to chat with your friends on facebook without actually having to be ON facebook. I personally don't use the chat unless I get an IM while ON the site, but with the ability to connect with friends on Facebook with third-party applications I rarely have to actually log onto the site. I chat with my friends via AIM, but if AIM isn't your cup of tea you can use yahoo, ICQ, Windows live and most maulti-platform messangers such as digsby, Gaim (now Pigin) or Trillion just to name a few.

I totally agree with you.The old facebook chat is way better.Facebook should stop making changes that they think would make the site better but in reality it's not making it better at all.It's just annoying the users.

I still prefer the old one. At least on that format, it will show everyone who is currently online. Unlike this one, it will not show you all members. You also have to manually check if someone is online. I hope they can return the old chat format.

I've never really liked the Facebook chat, but now it is really bad. They should really go back to what they had before. They always make changes that people aren't interested in.

Your no alone, massive amounts of people are asking the facebook team to change it back. I don't know why but mine's hasn't changed. :P

I agree with you. It is the worse design ever. The previous Facebook chat design is better.

i want them to put back that old facebook chat now! i wish the admin will hear our calls that the new chat they have created frustrates everybody.

I don't see why they keep changing it up. It was good the first time.

Indeed, the new Facebook chat is no good at all. I would like to use the old chat system. I now stay offline because of I don't want to use the new FB chat. Too bad. :(
