Dravid leads India's charge in the second test with his second straight century. If his century at Lords was a fighting effort in a losing cause, this one was even better in swinging conditions. This century could even setup India's victory in this match.
At the age of 38, he seems to have found a second lease of life with back to back centuries against England. The Wall of India is truly resurrected!!
Cheers!

What a bat that was yesterday.I like Dravid,he is one of my favorite batsman. He is the wall of Indian cricket.
He played extremely well in pressure and lead India to take lead in this match.
Best of luck to him and hope he will score more and lead Team India to success.

It was really one of his more fantastic innings. Given the context of the match it was very important. It looks like he will have to repeat the same in the second innings as well if India has to have any chance of winning or drawing this match as England have really got away to a big lead.
Cheers!

After finishing the third day,it seems that India is going to face a big total.
So,senior players like Dravid,Scachin,Laxman and Yuvraj have to batted well.I noticed yesterday that ball is not swinging and bouncing too much rather than 1st two days.It is good for Indian batsmen.
I am also hoping that Dravid will also batt well in second innings for Indian to win or draw the match.

Rahul Dravid played an extra ordinary innings in the first innings of the second test match. The conditions were not at all ideal for batting and Dravid adapted well to the conditions and got up his 34th test century. A surely well deserved one.
By doing so he has ensured that India have got a score in excess of Englands first innings and provided Indian bowlers bowl well on day three, India can have a good chance of victory. Dravid definately deserves the name of Mr. Dependable. He has bailed India out of so many situations. Lets hope that India does well on day three and they have a shout at victory in the third and ongoing test match..
