Anyone enjoy reading Catherine Cookson

I am currently reading Feathers in the Fire. I enjoy reading Catherine Cookson's novels. Her style of old English romantic tales are wonderful. They tell stories of how things used to be and how love can spring up through any type of situation. Hard times are rampant in these novels, but the characters endure, and push through to see a shining light.

I have never read a Catherine Cookson novel however I have seen her novels made into movies for television so many times I cannot count! They were all excellent and although I cannot remember the exact names of the stories they'd usually involved Victorian girls or women who have been challenged by life in one way or another to survive and to thrive which they usually do by the end of the story. I love them all there simply fabulous!
