Whenever I play a game like Call of Duty 4, or MW2 my PC starts making an noise randomly. My pc is more than able to handle these games so i don't know what's going on. I just want to know if it can be harmful to my PC because I can ignore the sound (I use headphones so I don't hear it), i'm just afraid of the damage my PC may get.

What kind of noise? Is it a really loud fan style noise, like say, a refridgerator when you've left the door open too loud. If it only does it when you have high graphics/resource games running, there are a few things you can do.
Are you using a desktop pc, or a laptop?
(I am an IT engineer and have been for 7 years, so I will help if I can!)

take the side off the computer and suck out all the dust from the computer and from the fans. Use a photo brush or makeup style brush to loosen any dust from the fans.
when you put the computer back, make sure there is plenty of clearance around the computer so that air can circulate around it.
If you're still getting the noises you should put more thermal paste on the CPU. If you dont know how to do this, you should get someone who knows what they're doing to do it. That will basically help draw heat from the CPU to the heatsink and out the fan.
basically, you just want to keep the computer as cool as possible, so another thing you could do is blast a desk fan in the direction of the computer. That sometimes works too if you are working in a warm room.
Good luck!

Thanks :D The problem was the dust, when i opened the computer the fans were full of dust :P
Also, the computer was between 2 walls and there wasn't any free space between the pc and the walls and i think that was the problem :D
Thanks Again :D

Well maybe the more intense games are the more the hardwares works .Your hard disk might be working double time and that's what's causing the sound. You can the cables inside if they touch the housing, cause they can produce a sound too when the system unit is running .There might be loose screw somewhere or maybe the covering of the system unit is not secured.

Hi marinepeter!
I also guess that it's more of a graphics card. My computer was like that before as well especially with games that it is not mostly capable of running. It's capacitor was actually blown off 3 months ago but I was able to replace it. Now I only play games that it is capable of handling so that it won't get damaged again. I'm planning as well to upgrade it. You may also search about sharing some of your RAM's resources to your graphics card to improve it's performance. Hope you'll be able to resolve it soon.
