Writing for multiple websites???

I am currently a member of Associated Content and Bukisa, and was considering possibly joining another website like HubPages to write for. The only problem is that HubPages requires completely new, original content while AC and Bukisa allowed you to re-post material as long as it was yours. Is it a good idea to start writing new articles for HubPages as well, or am I spreading myself too thin?

Writing has been my favorite hobby since my college years, and still is. And, I very much enjoy writing online, articles, short stories, reviews, commenataries, and so on. One of the sites I have been working with is "Review Stream", writing brief reviews on a variety of topics. That's very relaxing, enjoying the hobby.

ReviewStream looks like an interesting website. I've never heard of it before but I'll definitely check it out more. Thanks!

It depends on how much time you have. I used to write for multiple sites before when I still did that kind of thing, and I liked having multiple incomes in a way. That way you are not too dependant on one specific site, in case they close, change their payment system or something. so I would say: Go for it!!

Thanks for the answer puccagirl as well as everyone else that answered! I'm still a bit on the fence about it. Some of my articles get thousands of views while some only get a handful. I'll look into it more to see if it's right for me. Thanks again!

I would say that if you can keep up with the workload then certainly give it a try. You will never earn from your work if you don't get it posted somewhere. I have never tried hubpages, but I might consider it soon.
I do write for Triond and Associated Content and I also have a blog and work here so as you can see I am rather busy with writing. I am trying to improve my articles too as I would like to earn more money.

You'll have to decide that for yourself. Do you think you can be creative? I know at AC they give you topics to post on, like the upfront payment articles so you don't necessarily need to be creative tehre. Bukisa is different and triond is too... Well Hubpages is good, I've used it before, never got paid because I don't do good with articles. If you're a great article writer and can spin out original content by all means go for it. Give it a try, it doesn't hurt to do that.

If you want to find another website to repost your published content, you can check out Redgage.
Redgage pays by page views.
Even though the page view payment is way below Associated Content, there are many features of Redgage that will appeal to you.
For one thing, if your content gets featured, you can get a bonus payment of two to five dollars.
You can also take part in the daily contest for a chance to win $25.

Have you received any payment from RedGage?
Does AC accept Canadian writers?

scheng1,
I've heard about Redgage before. Do you have any experiences with them?

Hi 1hopefulman, yes, I have received payment from Redgage twice.
since the minimum payout is $25, I have made $50 from the contest there.
The payment is made through Visa debit card, for us to use as if it is a credit card.
As for AC, I am not very sure. You can check out the forum there.
I know a few writers are Canadian.
I think you have to join the featured contributor program.
Hi Mohammed3, I am now waiting for the third payout of $25.
Redgage is very slow in computing page views, and payment.
But there is no doubt that it is very prompt in paying, and I have seen some users with more than $700 earned within two years.

I am also a member of AC and Bukisa, but AC does not allow me to post things that have posted elsewhere...Bukisa does.
I don't know anything about HubPages, but you could try writing a new article for them, and once it was been approved and posted by them, you can also submit it to Bukisa. Then you'll be earning more from it. If that works, I don't know if HubPages would delete it from their site after it's already been put up.

Hey LilyoftheThorns,
Unfortunately HubPages only allows for content that is unique to them and not posted anywhere else. It still seems like a good and very popular website though.

I am using Bukisa as well but the income is too low. I hardly make money from Bukisa.

I also found Bukisa disappointing and deleted all my articles there.

I can't really remember whether AC allows you to re-post articles, since it has been awhile since I wrote for them after they changed their terms and conditions for international users. Anyway, I heard that Bukisa allows you to re-post your articles. To me, I do write for multiple sites, but I find it tough to focus. I'd rather focus my attention on just one site at a time. I'm trying to find out the sentiments for Bukisa right now.

Hi I used to write to Triond before but it earns too little. Good luck with AC and Bukisia I hope you earn big.

I am agree with 1hopefulman, Triond is no more attractive in recent days. Their per page view earning dropped drastically. Hope that the earning will restore soon. I still love to write for own blog that is more attractive than writing for other website.

Well, Hubpages wants new content because they know that content is king and this affects their results on the search engines. If you don't have the time to write, than Hubpages is not for you. However, do keep in mind that you can make double the money with Hubpages if you know what you are doing.
