Today, I went for a run and felt really good throughout the trail I was on. I even set a personal record. When I finished the trail, I usually take a short walk to a near by lake. There, I rested by the water. I sat there resting for about 2 minutes in direct sunlight. Soon realizing that I forgot to drink some actual water throughout the day, I started to feel the heat. I felt nauseous, I got headaches, and some abdominal pain. I walked back, up my humongous hill, and crawled into my house. Exhausted, I got some water and sat in my bed in pain. I was wondering, what is the best way to deal with dehydration?

I have always heard that when you take a walk, especially when it is warmer outside a person needs to bring some water with them to drink when they get thirsty. It is easy in the summer to get dehydrated if you do not watch it. We tend to get so busy that we forget about having things with us to drink. Carrying water with you is a Good thing for sure.

Hi bbr633,
Drink buttermilk diluted with more water than curd as frequently as possible. Drink lemon juice adding some salt. And take rest, You will be fine.

When you are that bad off try drinking the water slowly it can be a shock to your system including your kideny. I would also suggest eating bannans today and tomorrow and also something like power aid or gateraid to replace your much needed electrolytes. Broth would help too in the eveing. You will probrobly feel like crudd for the next few days so take it easy AND DON'T go out in the sun for a couple of days. It could and will give you a relapse if you do not take it easy
