I think Ryan Reynolds did fine in his role as the chosen Green Lantern from Earth. His training was only shown briefly and yet he battled to victory against the nemesis that killed his ring wearing predecessor. This picture is given the 'broad strokes' of an action hero. Not detailed and not boring. Great movie to cuddle on a rainy night with someone near and dear.
