Thotkhirithon - One of 'must see' of Thailand is their temple palaces. Here is "Thotkhirithon" giant demon (Yaksha) guarding an exit to Grand Palace.

The day we arrived we went to see Siam Niramit. Presentation is superb with 150 performers & over 500 costumes. It depicts Thailand Journeys beginning from its history (Siam), Blissful Heaven & Joyous Festivals. We tour on the Grand Palaces & Temples plus River cruising that includes buffet dinner with live band. Added to that is the show which is exclusively for the hand-picked foreigners -like us (*wink).

Hello maxine By the sound of your post you had a very peaceful picturesque time :) When we traveled to Thailand phuket we walked up to our hotel witch looked like a buddhist temple with gardens/pool's/pond's/ and Floyd's restaurant inside the hotel it very beautiful peaceful,we saw the island and the water was so clear picturesque, we went for a meal on the barrier reef witch is now the biggest. Saw the elephant castle in the forest,we did the shows as you did :.) We spent some time with the buddhist monk's and got blessed :)..(I have psoriasis and at the time and it was very bad)I knew it was the most friendliest/peaceful/picturesque place i had ever been/seen to and i have been to a few countries but i just wasn't my self because of my skin :) even tho i did find a cure there it just cost a lot of money but any way. Since I went to Thailand i don't know what it is (place/people/culture)I just want to get back there so much i think of how beautiful/picturesque it was. Now we are looking at later next year and i really hope we do :)

?Hi, lloyd, it's very descriptive. I'm Thai but I just know the foreigner's point of view for Thailand. It sounds the most interest place to travel. Not all Thai people have good chance to travel like this, it cost a lot for local people. I hope you can visit Thailand every year, there a lot of interesting places left.
