I got signed up with too many survey sites myself once. What I did was, I went to each site and checked a couple of things - how much did I actually get paid for a completed survey, what was the minimum cash out, did my earning ever "expire". I got rid of sites that sounded like they paid a lot "500 - 1000 points or more" when I found out that a 1000 point was really only worth about 5 - 7 cents! I also got rid of sites that allow the points/cach earned to "expire" after 12 months - I found that I was not able to complete enough surveys in a year to reach cash out and so I was basically working for them for free. When I got rid of the "duds" I was left with just 2 survey sites.

Yes, great tips. Once you thoroughly go through the sites and understand what they are really about, you can then begin to get rid of sites that are not really worth your time. Also, if any of the sites are too confusing as far as understanding their terms, get rid of the duds. My basic premise is how much will I earn in how much time. I (personally) do not want to spend my days and nights doing surveys for pennies. I want to earn as much as I can in as little as time as possible. I came to this understanding after participating, joining and working with many survey sites. I also have dropped sites that many people like so at the end of the day, it is about you and what you are trying to accomplish.

i forgot something. i want a legit site, and you can pm to me. about what you do, did you know if site you joined is a legit site? i think if you can do with just 1 legit site, you can stayed just 3 hour. and if you wanna take more from that site, you can upgraded. slowly, but easy. and be sure.

I do. I have signed up with a lot of companies and get emails that I basically just delete. Maybe someday I think I will have enough time to try them. But I make sure to stick with the sites that have proven to pay me well. Like PineCone Research, esearch, Opinion Square and FocusForward. I think so many others are a waste of time.

I have also signed up on several websites, but as the time goes some sites fall off'my plate'. I keep the best sites. It's difficult to know in the beginning, which is good or not. I think over a longer time you will only keep the one which give you the pleasure and what you want from them.

Only join those legitimate survey sites that truly pays. Otherwise, you are simply wasting your time.

I think that many of us new online or new to the internet do this. When I first started making money on the internet, I joined a ton of survey sites. It was just overwhelming and impossible to do but with some time and experience (and research, much reading)I began to drop many of them. Over time, I developed my own system of what I wanted, expected and how much I wanted to earn from surveys (as well as how much time I wanted to spend). The more specific I got, the more I narrowed down the survey companies that I wanted to be involved in. Now, there are less than 5 that I deal with and probably one or two that I look at weekly and that is because I have found some other ways to make money online that are more profitable so I spend my time there. One thing I would suggest is to look at each of these companies and possibly get some help from friends here at MyLot or others who have familiarity with some of the sites that you have joined. Get feedback from people you can ask/bounce off questions to about different companies (what they liked and/or what they didn't). This will go a long way to help you learn about these companies and hopefully, help you decide which are the best to concentrate on, which you can save for later and which ones you can ditch. I know about many survey sites and I am always willing to add my two cents if you need it.
