Help me building a website?

Hi friends.I would like to build a website of my own.But,Before that,I would like to know a few details.How can i get a domain name(like www.abc.com)?I would like to create a mobile(wap) site.So,how should i do it?How much does it cost per month?Is there anything else i should know?And,is there any difference between domain hosting and web hosting?Please tell me about it.Thanx in advance.

I use blogspot to host my blog for free. I use their templates and designs. Although I have to have the name blogspot in my URL; but at least it is totally free and easy to use especially for someone like me without any knowledge of website design. I am just thinking of changing the colour scheme on my blog but I am not sure what to change it to yet. You can it it a try for a start and may be later you could a professional paid for website with your own domain name.

godaddy.com is very excellent, they also offer help with domain name, and domain hosting. I got a web site with name for 11.95 a year and they always sending out specials for like discounts with other items you might need to maintain and your site up and running.
