What does the number between parenthesis after my username mean? I've always wondered about it...

I think it would be wise if you read the Frequently Asked Questions. Your specific question is answered here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx If you take time to read them all you will also learn that you should wait at least a week before awarding the Best Response - and then award to the best one, not to one which is incorrect
