scrapalbum for bf, maybe u have some idea?

I want to make scrabook for my bf, for our anniversary being. I found very old and little destroyed book and i was glueing few sites( now every site is thicker). But i have any idea to decorate this:( I was thinking , that i would show (in this album ) time for our first date to now. I want give there funny calendar with date of our first meeting, ourbirthday or other important days. I want also give maps , where i will tag places where we lived , where we were meeting.... It my first scrap, so i dont know how i can start;/ I have to add, that i must do it cheap. I havent enough money for buying for example special papers, scicsiors or stickers:( thanks for help:)
