Sailor Moon Vs. Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers

I adore both the Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors series. However, I often wonder what other people think of sentai series in general. For those who do not know, a sentai series is a team based show with color coded uniforms that generally match on a similar theme. If you had to pick between these two series which would you choose?
I like them both, but strangely enough I prefer Sailor Moon. Mini-skirts of justice just do it for me I guess.

I'm quite fond of both Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors since I grew up watching these series. I thought they were the coolest shows as a kid. Although that opinion has changed a bit now that I'm older I'm still fond of them. If I had to choose between the two I'd go with Ronin Warriors over Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon was good and all but the fight scene was a bit repetitive. It was basically Sailor Moon using her special attack to finish off the enemy every single time. RW at least had some variety. Plus, I'm more into the samurais than the super powered magical girls nowadays.

I know what you mean. The combat scenes in Ronin Warriors were much better and the storylines actually felt more epic. I know in Sailor Moon the characters were supposedly saving the world, but it's hard to believe that when there's only one monster at a time. Besides, where are the police and the JSDF during these battles? A magical fireball is probably not much stronger than a rocket propelled grenade in this series. The manga was better, all of the girls and even Tuxedo Mask killed Youma in that.
In Ronin Warrior Talpa and the later evil lords all seemed to be so powerful and had armies they were willing to use. Who was your favorite Ronin Warrior?

Haha...you do have a point. My favorite Ronin Warrior would probably be Seiji Date (Sage in the English version). As a kid, I thought he was the coolest for some reason that I can't recall now (the aloof personality...maybe). But then again, I kind of liked all of them equally.

I'm the same way with both series. I like each character for who they are and what they do. Sage was definitely a favorite of mine for similar reasons as yours.

I love watching Sailor Moon when I was young. I'm also fond of watching sentai series like Power Rangers and Mask Man. But I prefer watching Sailor Moon. I really love it up until now.

Sailor Moon has always had a place in my heart. It could have been done better, but that's the opinion of someone who has lived through the current era of anime. At the time it was created it was amazing, and it still holds up today. Who's your favorite Scout/senshi?
