Ways to promote your online content

Anyone got any good ideas? I've done all the usual things like building inbound links, keywords, SEO, search engine submissions, unique rich content and promoting but what are other good ways of promoting yourself online?

I'm currently experimenting with playing online games like Mafia Wars and FarmVille to move my blogs forward and increase readership for my other blogs.
Right now, I have just finished preparing Mafia Games Journal so it is ready for publication very soon. Hopefully, by next week, I will start promoting my proof-of-concept blog at some Facebook groups and within my mafia network.
Anyway, what makes this experiment interesting is having stuff I can trade for readership or traffic. At Mafia Wars, players accumulate giftable stuff and I have lots of them now. Hopefully, other online games have something similar so I can just post offers on my blogs and my "neighbors" will visit my blogs to get them.

I've been promoting my page on Social networking sites like twitter and facebook. Since I use blogger for my webpage with a custom domain, I used twitterfeed to publish my posts on both my Facebook account and Twitter. I am also fond of using YouTube and Dailymotion for the promotion of my page. So far, my page is 2 months old and I average at around 600 visitors a day.
