Oh my alquizar! Being healthy is my obsession lately. I am a over weight and I was diagnosed with Hormonal Imbalance that causes my irregular menstruation. My OB always suggested that I need to trim down to my right weight to help me regulate my menstruation. But as you know, losing weight is one hard thing to do overnight. It takes a lot of patience and discipline to achieve. Just last month, I suffered from a month of bleeding while I'm on hormonal pills. I don't want that to happen anymore, it is depressing you know. So I eat less, exercise, drinks lots of water like you do, and get enough sleep. I also take Vitamin C and E for healthy skin. By the way, how was it to become a vegetarian? I've known several people who is in to it and they were all positive about its good effect on the body and health overall...

Vegetarians don't eat fish, pescatarians eat only fish as the only meat. Vegetarians don't eat anything that requires animals being killed. You could try flax seed oil instead of fish oil, or have more linseed products.

Avoiding unhealthy foods, regular physical excersize, and yoga meditation. Every evening after I get back home from work, if the weather is favorable, I go out to the park near my house, and go jogging for about 30 minutes. That is really very refreshing. Then , in the evenings, I sit down and practise meditation. Meditation is a way of relaxation and getting rid of the stresses. It is very good for physical as well as mental health.

Really I just keep as active is possible. I walk for at least fifteen to twenty minutes on every single day. Of course, if its too hot outside, I just walk around the house several times for about fifteen to twenty minutes. There are just a lot of times where it doesn't matter where you walk, whether indoors or outdoors, it just matters that you walk. Of course I pace a lot when I think, so that's got to be healthy. I have been eaten a lot of fruits as well, especially for Breakfast and when I need a middle of the day snack to recharge myself a lot of the time. That is a rather healthy alternative to a number of the possible things that a person can be eating throughout all times of the day. It is rather important to keep as active as possible and that is what I am trying to do to keep my weight in check to the best of my abilities.

I think a balanced lifestyle is the key. You know, from physical needs, mental needs and social needs, if we can fulfill them, then I think it would be alright. Of course, we can't be perfect all the time, so if we feel like giving it a cheat a day or two, so be it. A healthy body and mind can make you happy.

Hi alquizar! I'm also an advocate of healthy living. We're not vegetarian but we choose the healthier alternatives for our foods. We eat a lot of fruits and veggies everyday. And we steer away from junk foods, with the exception of "cheat days". We exercise regularly and drink our supplements daily.
