Does anyone use myLot search?

I just used the myLot search. The results are very good and the page has a very pleasant look. I wanted to use it more frequently for all my searches. So I have made it my homepage. That helps me know my myLot earnings at a glance as well as post discussions if required. You can also set it as your default search engine. Here is how to do it. Go to the address bar of your browser. Type 'about:config' and hit enter. It will give you a warning message. Select 'I will be carefull. In the filter option type 'keyword'. Double click on keyword.enabled until it becomes true. Double click on keyword.URL. A window opens up. Type 'http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k='. Click OK. Close the browser and restart it. Now if you type any thing in the address bar it will be searched by default using myLot. Hope this helps. I had a question though. Does myLot pay for searches made using myLot?

Yes I used mylot search engine many times. I don't know how much I earned for a particular search. However. I was rewarded to times there. First was 12 cents & another was 17 cents. I don't know how I did it but it popup automatically. I think from this way mylot share income.
You'll see in mylot search page then in a web section, there is Explore with yahoo! search written there. That means mylot search is embedded with yahoo & getting revenue from that from that also. I get rewarded from web searching not from other. Friendly speaking I haven't tried much more that module.

At present, I am always using myLot search and I believe most of the mylotters also use it because it only fulfills your purpose of the search but also increases your earnings at mylot.

I don't use myLot search as a default but I do use it from time to time. I do knoew there are rewards given for using it though. I think the results are pretty good too. I usually use it when I am making sure I'm not duplicating a discussion though. Sometimes when I am starting a discussion and would like some more info...I'm already here so I use it them too.
