deleted post

First of all my observation is this discussion ought to be under 'mylot'. From the list of tags it appears you must have stated something which is objectionable as per the mylot guidelines. We have to be careful in starting discussions, responding and commenting. I had experienced a few deletions of my responses and comments. Come to think of it I am afraid even this can be deleted, who knows! The topic is such.

That hasn't happened to me (yet?). I'm fairly new and I've only created 2 discussions so far. But a topic that I commented on was just deleted and I'm very confused by it was. The discussion wasn't inappropriate, nor was it in the wrong category. I'd love to find out why it was deleted. So when the admins delete a discussion, they don't tell the creator why it was removed? I think they should because not only does the creator have a right to know why their discussion was deleted, but also, they could prevent making the same error again.

I have experienced that. The first thing that goes through my mind is "Oops". Most probably it was my fault and not others, or else it would just have been their response which got deleted. Yes, it feels sad a bit, but you can always do more discussions. Don't forget about the rules the next time though.

Yeah, it is but natural for anyone to get dejected if a post is deleted. It not only deletes your post, but also your efforts and bucks too. However, one is himself to be blamed if this happens. I have experienced this too. It can happen if you are not aware of mylot's TOS. That is the only reason why the posts get deleted. Otherwise, it is useless and irrational to blame MyLot for this. It has happened to me, I explained, the administration received my post to them but never answered nor placed my post back. It did not make me sad. It made me angry. It made me sad to have my post deleted, but it made me angry not to have a reasonable response.

I've had discussions deleted but I just keep posting. It happens sometimes. Especially if you violate the guidelines of MyLot.

Yes. I have started some discussions that got deleted. Alot of times, it was not my fault though. someone responding to it, got it deleted.

I did :P I created this discussion before about "What browser do you prefer?" and stated in my starting discussion that I use 3 browsers and explained the pros and cons of each. A lot of people replied but the discussion was deleted, saying that my post is "poll-like" :D It's a bit sad to see your discussion deleted but there's nothing we can do about it. Rules are rules :P

I am not faced this kind of feeling cause I didn't posted one yet
