how can you get food and shelter without any money at all? can you get it free? and if you will have a family, how can support them without money? How can you feed them? how can you send your kids to school? Yes life is not ALL about money. But having money is a necessity.

Thanks billionairewannabe. Let me answer all your questions. First thing you must remember is that we are talking about the possibility of the life without money. To answer your first question (i.e how can you get food and shelter without any money at all?) Where do you thing food comes from? Does money grow crops? Does money work in the field? Yes we do buy from the market with money to eat but it is not necessary that we buy it from the market. It is just wants and not needs. We do buy but it there is some body same like us who has worked in field and bought it to the market.Don't you think we can work for ourselves and cultivate what we get in the market for ourselves. Yes now the world is so materialistic. We pay rent and live in a huge beautiful building and that makes you think that without money we won't have shelter to live. Again once more remember that we are discussing on the possibility of life and not about the comfort or the happiness in the life. What about building our own shelter? The buildings are also build by people like us. Money did not build it. But you may again say or at least think that we buy machines, cements, steels, glasses, bricks for building. So you may claim that in that case money has built the buildings. But we must think what is ultimate source of machines, cements, steels etc.. It is not money. It is our mother earth. About the next question about supporting family, yea we can do if the only condition is to keep them alive. And there is no question of sending our kids to school when we are talking about possibility of livelihood without money. I mean to say life can be possible without money and it is in accordance with the topic of your discussion. Money is for better life. It is not necessary condition for living on this earth.

I will answer your first question. There are some people can have food and shelter without money like scavengers/beggars which is classified to be the lowest class but they are blessed because they enjoy things in this world for free like free shelter under the bridge without any monthly fees, free food from the excess of fast food chains establishments. Despite of being no money still they can find happiness and they can sleep well unlike rich man can't even sleep well because of over worrying about his wealth. Like what's written in the bible that the blessings of God is not measured on the amount of money you have. During stoneage period people can live without money.

Money and happiness are interlinked with each other, Money can't buy happiness but happiness won't come without money.

you are right there are many things that can make you happy. rather than money i would choose to be with someone i like. it will be more fun than sleeping in a bed of money.

People can live even if there's no oil because during stoneage there's no oil besides the first usage of oil was began during industrial age 200 years ago.
