Would you be as active on mylot as before, if mylot stops rewarding you?

Hi my fellow mylotters, one thing i have noticed since, i have been to mylot, is the fact that, there are lots of mylotters who work actively on mylot just because, they feel it as a means of earning money. Sincerely speaking, in my opinion most mylotters wouldn't have been this active in here if, the mylot admins didn't reward for the posts and discussions done!
There are lots discussions in here hovering around the fact that, mylot is a money making opportunity or not! Now, in my opinion mylot is purely a discussion site and the admins does a great thing by rewarding people for the work they do in here.
I would like my fellow mylotters to ask this question to yourself sincerely. Would i have worked this much or keep posting all day long on mylot IF i wouldn't have got paid for each post i make or each discussion i attend to?

I am pretty sure I would still be active because I have been on discussion boards for years that are not nearly as interesting as myLot. I don't think one could continue here if it were just for the money, since the money is not very much.
I have read a lot of interesting tips from people here and any question, curiosity I think of gets an immediate response. Plus even better, I get more than one opinion and have had some very interesting suggestions.

For me it's not about the payment it's about the quality discussions that are here. I'm also a member of yahooanswers and even they don't pay anything yet many people are active at yahooanswers. It's just like that is kind of fun to post comments, answer questions and socialize with people around the world that makes mylot more interesting for me. I'm not much active here but somehow I feel great when someone responds to my started discussions or comment to my post. If you find mylot as an earning site I suggest you better find a job.

Hi jacruz, for sure posting comments and getting valuable opinions from fellow mylotters are great. But then, somewhere deep inside every mylotters, there should be this earning thing which could definitely have some impact in driving them to use mylot more often. It's pretty hard to deny that fact:)

I have been saying that myLot is a unique place to meet and make friends with wonderful people from countries and cultures around the world. To me, that is the true value of myLot. Making some money is an add-on benefit. If no rewards are offered any more, that would be a disappointment, but the friendships and cooperation will continue on.

We cannot deny that most of us are here to earn. I guess that is the main reason why we are here. And I am talking about earning in general. We are here to earn money, friends, advises and a place to express everything what's on our mind. For me, if mylot stops paying I will be disappointed but I will still log in here because basically this is a place of learning. We are not only here to share our own opinion but also receive the opinion of others. It's a healthy environment for me.

Very true mate! Mylot offers a good healthy platform for all fellow mylotters to keep sharing and discussing matters. For sure, a majority of them would be so disappointed if the sdmins stop rewarding. Think, the quality of the discussions could also go down if something like that happens.

Besides reward, myLot also has an unique and creative design that make me really enjoy the conversation and discussion here.
Also, sharing is thing that I enjoy most, I also join another forum that isn't paying me and still, I actively make posts there.
So maybe even the Admin isn't paying members anymore, I think I will still stay here :)

I actually think the current design in MyLot needs a "make over" ... It to me seems a bit un-user freindly and I think something that is would be key to gaining more people at this site, but i'm honestly not complaining. I'm mostly here for the money :\ As bad as that sounds, This site is pretty cool. Would love some new things to earn off of.

I must say this one is a really good discussion. But what my opinion is now when myLot is so famous nobody will leave this site suddenly. I agree with your point that nobody will be as active as before. But they will be coming once here. It's a great platform to discuss anything. To know what people thinks and what are there opinions. Frankly speaking what i think is, if a person can sit besides their PC and press the home button again and again of Facebook then myLotting is much much better than that. So my answer to this is, I am not gonna leave myLot whether they reward me or not.

Hii ankit, you made a very good point between facebook and mylot. Mylot to me is just as facebook, hmm maybe facebook a touch higher due to its additional socoalizing features. But then, as you rightly pointed out, if people could keep logging into mylot as they do more often with facebook, the mighty advantage is that, they could socialize and get valuable infos and get rewarded for the amount of work they spent in here.

That's what i am trying to say. What do we do on Facebook...? Chat with friends, upload pictures and keep posting on wall. But we rarely gain knowledge doing all these things. But here too, we can make friends and talk to them, can upload pictures and instead of posting can start a discussion here which will more informative.

Who knows personally if I would still be here if this site quit paying. From someone who has been here almost 5 yrs. this site is truly a Great place to be. I Love having the chance to come here and Chat with others and meet New people all over the World. It is really the added Bonus that we get paid for being here, but the thing I also like is we can come here and talk about things that are bothering us and not have to worry about the whole world being able to see all we posted here as well.

I would probably still continur the discussion on another site. I think the money although it's not alot of money, it's my incentive to continue coming to mylot. It's how i found the site but not why i stayed here.

Good discussions indeed. I think not many members will come back here in mylot if ever the admin does not give any rewards anymore. I do like mylot considering that you can learn and enjoy as well as gain friends. But surely, I think this site continues to be here due to that fact that admin and members sort of earn from each other. In my case, I think that I will still be coming back from time to time.

I joined here not knowing i will be earning. I was active not knowing i am being paid. When i received the money, it was a shock for me and it got me so excited it made me more active. So to answer your question, now that i have gained great friends here in mylot, i will stay active for their sake.
Actually i won't post as much as before if it weren't for the reward but i would have been still active because this is something that i enjoy doing. But now that i have great friends, nothing can stop me from posting in mylot more than i do in facebook!

Of course not,it's my answer! What i attended in mylot is that learning my poor english, althouth in mylot we can earn money,i think it's only one way encourged us,and as you know, the money is not easy to earn, you must take a lot of energy to post dicussions,in my country China, the money we earned from mylot, recharged our debt card, the fee is so high that our earning may be little than it!So in my opinion, the purpose i joined mylot is learning, may be sometimes i came here short time because of busy in working or other reasons, but i think i will persist,i think i do!

honestly, if mylot stops rewarding, I won't be as active as before. But I will certainlly come back like the response above. I still think this site is helpful, like whenever i have problems, I'll just search whenever someone has the same problem, or I could open a discussion and help me about my problem. That is how I view mylot. I won't be as active as I was before when they're still rewarding but I won't permanently leave this site.

I do mylot because I enjoy joining some discussions here and makes me learn something through commenting and reading the comments of my fellow mylotters, before I joined here I am a regular user of facebook, but I think mylot is better because the topics in here are informative and it will help me improve my english, unlike in facebook all comments are all about their life and gossips. well the rewards here is also a plus factor of course. the only site which you've learned something, enjoy and at the same time earned.

If mylot stops rewarding people, probably, I'll just log in to check if someones send message to me and if a change has happened. But of course, I won't stay long. Honestly, I registered here because I wanna earn money. I don't wanna be hypocrite. Im gonna look again for another site that pays.
