Hi mylotters,
Do you believe vegetarian diet is the best diet? Do have compassion for animals? I do.
I believe vegetarian diet is the best and I love animals so much that I cannot stand one being slaughtered.
Good day

Yes, a vegetarian diet is the best diet, in the original sense of the word. A vegan diet would be considered far superior by many, while a raw food diet would be the ultimate goal for others.
I think it is very noble of you to go vegetarian out of compassion for the animals. Congratulations & may you continue in this endeavour.
Others take up a vegetarian diet for health reasons, still others for environmental reasons, others as a solution to world hunger & many enjoy it for financial savings. People are drawn to it because they say that a veg*n organic diet tastes better. Many accept it as an essential pre-requisite to undertake the higher levels of spiritual practice. Whatever the reason, they have my blessing!

Yes, I have been vegetarian for more than 20 years as I hate to see animals killed for our pleasure when there are many other options for us.
There are many health benefits for vegetarians - low cholestoral for a start.
Just research other forms of protein and iron when you become vegetarian. Spinach and red beans are good sources of iron. Red beans, lentils, chick peas and tofu are good sources of protein. If you combine legumes with a whole grain it will make a complete protein. Vitamin C helps people absorb vegetarian iron.

Apart from fish, I eat no animals, I would not wish to kill to eat nor employ someone to do the killing for me

I am not a vegetarian but I can't stand the thought of animals being slaughtered for human consumption either. I guess I just don't think about the cow when I'm eating my hamburger. A vegetarian diet would be the best if you make sure you are getting everything that your body needs from sources other than meat. If I was to become vegetarian I would also stop eating fish. And, fish is very healthy.

I think being vegetarian is the way to go. I've been veg for 4 years now I've got no health problems or nthing like that. Almost the whole time I've been a vegetaian I've been involved in sports and in many cases I preformed better than meat eatters did :)

I am a meat eater, but have been thinking of changing my diet to vegetarian. One of the main reasons is because I keep hearing that we should not eat meat. They say meat is clogging our atteries with cholesterol. It also causes diabetes. People think diabetes is just from sugar, but it's from meat too.
