Have you ever noticed that many of people of today are wearing glasses and contact lenses? Do you think that people's eyesight are greatly affected of what has been developed of today's technology and whatsoever. In my case, I have had a bad eyesight when i was 10 years old. I couldn't see the blackboard writings at the end of the seat in a row. I was wondering why and then i finally found out that i had a bad eyesight so my parents bought eyeglasses to solve my vision problem. I researched of what went wrong with my eyes. Then i learned that i am myopic. Myopic or Myopia: What does it mean? It is defined as the condition of the eye in which rays from distant object are brought to a focus before they reach the retina, and hence form an indistinct image, while rays from very near objects are normally converged so as to produce a distinct image. I have been wearing glasses since then and planning to use contacts for a better look. ^^ How i wish i had normal and healthy eyes.

Honestly, I used to wear glasses since there was a point that I couldn't the glare anymore that I have to close my eyes because it hurts so much. They always say that corrective lenses can cure. But after two weeks that I am supposed to stop using it the problem came back. Glad I have found a natural supplement that worked so well that my eyes don't hurt anymore and that I did not have to wear glasses. I don't know if I could expose what product it is here. But it is just basically having the right nutrient for eye care. Lutein is the most important nutrient. Anything that contains that will really help you along with all the other nutrients we get from fruits and vegetable. Any doctor would tell you that. That will prevent your eye deterioration from worsening. Now I don't have to feel eye pain when I am in the computer. Goodbye to glasses.

hi thetis I also take lutein and I swear its stopped the progress of maculear degeneration in my left eye. Now if I can get permission to have the cataract removed from that same eye I may see even better with my new glasses. lol.

My advice is that please go to the hospital. In these small age if you have eye problem, may be your parents would have the same problem when they were small. You avoid watching televisions.Eat more vegetables like carrot etc. There is nothing to take care of unless you take remeday now itself instead of living that to grow. So,go to the doctor first and ask him what should be done. Now a days even small kids wears glasses. We are the responsible person for our health. You can also prefer meditation exercises before you consult doctor it very good and safety.Dont worry you will b alright very soon.Take care.god is with us.

hi tess__quinain we both have something in common, I had to get glasses when I was ten also. I had had measles and after I was over them I sat in the back row in school. I just could not really read the sentences the teacher had written on the blackboard. My grades were going down when my teacher, Miss Thornton, moved me to the front row. then she asked me if I had had problems reading before , When I told her I just couldn't read from the back row she called my dad. I was taken to have my eyes checked and the ophthalmologist told us I needed glasses. oh you should have seen them round lens and so ugly. The kids made fun of me so I would put them in my pocket during school then put them back on when I knew my dad was coming to pick me up from school. Now this was 74 years ago when they did not make pretty or attractive eyeglasses. Now when I had my glasses changed and the optometrist picked out the most stylish frames there for me in my favorite color blue. of course my parents found out I was not wearing my glasses so my mom took me back to the eye doctor and got us a new prescription so I could get prettier oval shaped glasses that did flatter my face. my dad was not too happy about it but it really helped my childish self-esteem. I was so glad my mom understood how I felt.my dad never ever really understood my feelings even when I was an adult. sorry I got off topic. Yes I think now we all are on computer monitors so much or watching hours of television or playing computer games we are putting our eyes to a lot of strain. The last time I saw my ophthalmologist he told ever fifteen minutes while using my computer I should look off a round the room for a good five to ten minutes then close my eyes for a few minutes before going back to typing again. this does seem to work for me as it rests my eyes a bit. I am also very nearsighted. Myopia seems revalent among older people too.

So sorry for your eyes.. As of now, I don't find anything wrong with my eyesight and I'm proud of it. I never wanted to wear an eye glass or contacts.. :) Everyone must really take care of their eyes.. :) Eyes are so important for our day to day living. :)
