Hello MYLOTTERS,
Last week due to illness i took leave of 3 days continously and took rest in these 3 days as whole 3 days i slept at home.My wife was very consious about my health so she locked me in one room so that my kids may not disturb me.
But now when i am well and recovered from the illness i have observed one thing that to wake up as per my daily schedule has become difficult and i feel bit of lazyness to go to work and always like to take rest & feel tired.
I don't understand that if i am still not recovered or feeling weakness.Or its a normal feeling that when you take offs from work you tend to become lazy to go to work for sometime and it will be OK after some period of time.

It's nothing like that you have not been fully recovered. You must be recovered but you are being to lazy to go to work. As you have taken rest for 3 days and that is the only reason you are feeling very tired and lazy now. Once go to your workplace and if you feel some kind of problem after that. Then it mean you are not fully recovered and next 3 days are waiting for you at home. If no problem, just keep on going your workplace and you will be in your routine.

There were a lot of times that I felt lazy going to work. I just hate the environment the workplace brings. I also feel bored with the job because it's too simple for anyone to do. I'm even surprised I'm still here after a few months.

I think it is very normal for you not to want to go to work. It is just like Monday. People feel stressed to it since it means tiring work pressure again. People feel sad to Monday but excited to Friday because Saturday is approaching. We don't work for ourselves, we work for our families. Due to it, you have to be responsible and have to go to work.

I guess your not fully recovered from illness yet and maybe your body was used to the three day rest and wanted to have another day of rest. Normally, after illness there is this feeling of laziness, until the body itself refuses to take a rest and want to go out and be active again.

Same as me regarding this. I just took vacation leaves recently and effectively got a 3 day continuous out of work. With my body accustomed not to go to work with that 3 day, it didn't adjusted pretty well and I am lazy too getting towake up early and go to the office. Don't worry, your body will get used to working again after some time. I think what's happening is just like a hangover.

hello sjvg,
Maybe you're not totally well,or haven't recovered that much.
Maybe you need to have more medical check ups if you really feel that something is still not good about your health
Don't say you feel like having some more rest just because you feel too lazy to report back to your usual work...(hehehe)
have a good day

Well both things mentioned are possibilities. I've never known anyone to get THAT lazy after a few days, but I can understand if you were ill. Your body is trying to bounce back because you did nothing but sleep for three days. Since you did this, your body is trying to get used to being "well". Whatever illness that caused you to stay home and take off may still be trying to push it's way out of your system, and the tiredness is a direct result of you trying to get back to normal. Your body knows what it's supposed to do, but doesn't want to do it.
Now I don't know if you've got outstanding conditions, or illnesses that you've had from childhood that fallowed you into adulthood, but if you do it can take longer for you to physically bounce back. Not saying you won't, but I wouldn't hit that panic button just yet. Give yourself a few days, try to ease yourself into your normal routine and if symptoms persist see a doctor or someone in the medical profession. Many illinesses can take up to two weeks to completely flush themselves out of our systems. You probably need time. However, I have no real advice in which to offer you other than that.

Hello Kaylachan,
Yes i trying to bunce back to the previous day schedules and hope will do it in 2~3 days.
Its not that i am not well now. I am well but the body had been in the comfort mode for last 3 days and its really still not accepting to work so its need time to adjust.

Hi!
Guess what? I used to work for my first company and I have three days off every week. Every time I'm off, I feel like not going to work anymore... Maybe it's because our body get used to resting or that we have not rested for quite a long time so when we had the chance to finally take some time off, our body liked it so it feels a little lazy to do our tasks again.
Hope you go to work soon and have that energy for your work back!

Hi friend. Laziness is some what good to health in many aspects.. Because laziness only makes you to sleep. Sleeping is the most best thing to get relaxation and piece of mind.. So laziness is also necessary to our daily life.. But feeling lazy to even go to workplace is really too much my friend. I can understand, You are relaxed for the past 3 days. But now again you have to go to your workplace and should start your duty as-usual. But your mind is not ready now to go for workplace.. Everyone haves the same kind of laziness, Even i am commenting about you now but i also the same kind of you.. I am a most laziest person. You know one thing?? I feel so much worried at Monday morning because Sunday is a holiday. Very enjoyable day. I am just matured only physically and still like a school student to feel sad to go to workplace.. But it will be OK for me after i reached my workplace. But feels lazy until i reach my cabin..

Hello Balaji,
Hahaha i also feel the same when i have to go to work on MONDAY.
Body becomes what you make it,if you give it more rest then it will demand more rest and if you don't give it rest then it won't ask rest from you.
I feel in 2~3 days i will be OK and will enjoy the work leaving this lazyness.

We all go through this kind of thing. I happened to get 3 offs together after a long time. Today is the third day and I am already feeling the same. Its just that I want more sleep, some more entertainment and also some more time to relax. Its the human bodys tendency that after a few days off, we find it difficult to get back to the previous routine. But after the first day of work everything seems normal and we are able to get on with our daily routine..

Hmmmm.. Glad you're okay now. :)
I think, you loved being at home and not face your office, office mates and everything you do everyday. :) I feel the same way as you too sometimes. I just wanted to stay at home or go to places with friends but I'm limited because of my work. :(

Hello jdex_143,
Oh yes i love to be at home with my kids.
I rarely get chance from my offline work to remain with my kids but really i enjoyed alot at home despite of being ill in these 3 days may be thats the reason i am feeling not to go to work.Hope it will be improved soon.

probably you are not yet fully recovered. anyhow, it is always tempting to go easy and feel lazy in the workdays. i feel that too after a long vacation or non-work days. work seems not yet in our system. but for people who have imbibed the work system in their habits, they feel bad and sick if they do not go to work. well, it depends also on the kind of work we do.
