Sweets Withdrawal Symptoms?

I have been a sweet tooth ever since. I love almost all chocolates especially dark ones. I love almost all candies except mint ones. I love almost all kinds of cake/cookies and ice cream less the peanuts. Yes, a certified sweet tooth. But! recently, I learned that my addiction is the only reason why I have the least pimple-free face among 4 sisters in the family; most of them hate sweets and have facial skin to die for. So, I decided to bring down my sweet intake, not necessarily avoid them since my body would be in shock if I do. I still can't let go of sweets, and I get cravings every now and then. I just want to chew something all the time like I'm orally fixated hehe...Any experience and advice you may want to give?? ^_^

Sweets - Very Sweet Dessert
Just eat sweets in moderation. Anything in excess is not good. If you eat too much sweet later your problem will multiply...not just pimples but even diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure. I know sweets are so easy to love. I myself do love sweets so I don't store too much sweets at home so I don't get tempted all the time. I also do control myself because I know too much sweets will make me very, very sweet and I am afraid ants will eat up my whole body while I'm asleep.

lol! you are funny~ well, i do think I should do "more moderation" than usual. as you say -too much of something is really bad. And mind you, I have also thought of that possibility that if you eat sweets, your blood becomes really sweet even ants might swarm at you! haha! anyways, it's a fun threat which could help maybe, psychologically. thanks! tc!

It is difficult to get rid of the sweet tooth. Look for sugar free products. But the pimply face is not necessarily due to the sweet intake. Consult a dermatologist and a nutritionist. They can usually suggest ways to get rid of the pimples.

Truly, sweets is not the basic cause but for some it can aggravate it, that's what I read in the book somehow. Thanks eileen, but I can't afford for a dermatologist so I will try asking the nutritionist I know. Tc
