How does this search reward work? / myLot

I've seen discussion claiming that their earned some cents just by using the mylot search panel. How does it work exactly? Is it just like swagbucks?

And if you "run after", you may not accomplish nothing, while there got to be a NATURAL way of searchings .. So, just do search for terms and tags inside the site, to find discussions about things you are intersted into, or search the web when you need to find something. Just do not push it. "They" know ..

It's explained here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx Rewards are of random amounts and are given after a random number of searches. They are added to your earnings instantly (unlike participation earnings).

You will earn the reward by using the mylot search engine. Use it like your primary search engine but not to overdo it, though. Swagbucks is different.

I have been able to earn rewards from mylot search. So far they have been of 5 cents though. I just used the search as a normal search because of my requirements. I think its a great thing.
