We grow in Numbers but with few "active ones"

I know what you mean. I have referred several people here but only one of them are active. Most of them joined and left the same day without even accepting my friendship.

Hi Letran, I hope to always be an active member, that life doesn't get in my way, but like today, I shouldn't even be here. Yesterday my math site was down, now I have to do two days of work in one day.. But I thought I'd at least stop in this morning and hopefully will be back by tonight, sometime...

It certainly does seem that not every one is active on mylot. Some are, but it seems like it's possibly only a small number of people. As much as it might be nice if more were active, at least there still are some active members.

Hi, Letran, I think that this situation is normal. You always have a little bunch of enthusiasts who are very active and a large mass of people who log in from time to time. I like it here and I want to stay in myLot much more time than I do. But I work a lot (sometimes I ask myself why) and I don't have all the time I need.

I am still a newbie here, and hope I can be that "active ones" haha. By the way -- "not to mention, the admin is active indeed." I have never seen Admin around here yet. Was he ever posting something here in discussion on MyLot, or just watching from the distance? :))

They should have a display that shows how many are currently online and maybe show you which friends are currently online... That would be interesting. I try and be active daily but find it hard with a busy life to deal with. I notice that the mylot community keeps growing very quickly and I often wonder how many are really active.... What about the people that's accounts have been suspended? Do they and their discussions get deleted?

I admit i belong to the veterans that are inactive. I am just busy with other site that I am earning more. But I drop by from time to time with Mylot and read my friends discussion and if that interests me, i join the discussion. I really like to be part of the active ones, but I am earning more on other site and I will be using that for my brother's tuition fee. I can estimate my earnings there compare here, but I still read and response to some of the discussions like this one. Anyway, I used the Mylot rewards because I use Mylot if I have something to search and I get rewarded after a day, or let us say every two days of continuously using the search.

Well you are certainly right. We have a lot of members but not so many are active. From my point of view, mylot is not for everybody. There are people who have joined mylot and is expecting a lot. After finding out the earnings they get, the slowly fade away. But for those who understand the concept, they will surely stay. I have realized long before that mylot is not more about the money but rather a learning, fun and socializing site. The earnings are just the bonus. So if you expect to earn much, you will be discourage. The concept is to enjoy and earn.

hi letran I have barely sc ratched the surface of my huge mylot friends list of over one thousand people and have seen at least fifty or sixty people who have not been here for three, six, eight months, I am wondering if those are deleted from the 231,777 number it shows today? of course some may come back too but I waited awhile then when three months went to six seven or eight I did delete a few. I figure if they do come back they can ask to be my friend atain meanwhile they are not doing anything. so when I add new friends now I do delete those who have only been here for one week or one month as I figure they just did not like mylot. i am curious about the mylot user existing in another location.

Well, maybe those members who becomes inactive are just busy with their primary source of income. Or maybe some are busy with their studies, like my daughter who haven't mylotted anymore since summer. But as for me, i like to always visit this site. It keeps my brain active !

hi LK, I have 3 referrals but they never been active here I hope one day they can appreciate this site like I do happy mylotting

I'm kind of a weekly inactive type it really depends on my internet connection there were times I've been on here for 2 hours but only got to post around 5 replies because my internet connection keeps on breaking and I can't really copy and paste yet since I haven't reached the 500 posts minimum. It's kind of tiring when you've written 2 paragraphs of a reply and then your connections shuts down while you're posting it and you have to make a new one since you can't copy and paste the one you've previously written. I'm only online here for 1 hour a day since I can't really devote a larger amount of time on myLot.

and i happen to be one of those partially inactive ones. hehe i must have had about 10 referrals before but they came on active only for a short while. mylot really is something that one has to enjoy to have a staying power in the site. even if i had wanted to, time does not permit me to be really active in the site... the way i used to. but i try to come aboard every now and then and participate to some of the discussions posted by friends in my list (yours included of course hehe). work really weighs heavier as time passes and business gets serious everyday... seems like my baby is growing. hehe it is still good to find veterans who had been here for years already and that the admin has an active role in interacting as well as improving the site. have a great day lk! :)

Certainly not all of that number are active but remmber that some don't particpate in the discussions but are actively completing tasks. Owlwings did some calculations and knows approximately how many are active here and I hope he will come and explain. It seems to me that many new users join, then realise that they have to do something here to earn and are disappointed and stop posting without giving it (and us) a chance

seems like people are just inviting a lot of others to make this site grow or some are making multiple accounts or worse... some people have very short attention spans and move on just because they think it's boring to be here

I am also active on this site.I do not make much discussions but I always loook on others discussions from my friends and the useful things......

Hello LK, Thats true there are lot of members as per MYLOT in to the site but i rarely see that much people active here. Most of the people do join MYLOT and leave within day or two as they don't find it suitable for them to earn.You can imagine this from the fact that i have 9 referrals but no one is active here.They all did trial and remained active for 1 or 2 days and left it.

Yes I agree with that. LOts of people does not put much effort on mylot. They usually gives more time on blogging. The admin knows that. the site needs more active members. If you have a friend you can refer them.
