I was home friday afternoon when some Jehovas witness came and preach, at first my mom said that we're already a christian and don't need some preaching from another religion anymore, but because they are so insistent my mother let them in and read some verses in the bible and it went to the topic where they said that there is only 140 plus thousandths that going to heaven and not all, those who are righteous that He didn't chose to come with Him in heaven will stay here on earth. so I disagree because what I believe is every righteous will go to heaven and live a happy life there. what do you think my fellow mylotters?

aww i think this is a complete and utter load of rubbish. it clearly states in the bible that those who follow gods word, and ways and who repent from their sins and wrong doings will be rewarded with eternal life in heaven.. i don't think there is a cut off point lol. and there are millions and millions of people of people in the world, i doubt very much there is only going to be 140 thousand good people, i'd say there is a lot more than that, and they are hardly going to send good people to hell like lol.

see it's a load of rubbish! i hate people that make up nonsense and then fill everyone shead with it!! if there is a heaven, i'm not saying there is, or there isn't, but if there is, it will be full of god's children. we are ALL god's children unless we obviously give up that right by committing a sin and then not repenting from said sin. but if we are all god's children, then there will be no discrimination, or cut off point, for our places in heaven. and, if there is a heaven, there is more than likely a hell. i can't see wandering about on earth, where we always had been, as much of a punishment for any wrong doings..

yes that's true,if only 140 thousand people only will go to heaven then how about us? of all the millions of people, if only that number will be in heaven then maybe we are not one of them and it's so scary, but they also said that the new heaven for the other righteous will be the earth. and they don't believe in hell they said those who are not righteous will only stay as dust, and hell is only symbolic.thanks for your comment.

Firstly, the 140,000 will be of the tribes of Israel; that is 140,000 of the tribes of Israel will go to heaven. Secondly, no one is righteous enough to earn a place in heaven. all the best urban

so what they are saying is just the tribes of Israel will go to heaven? I disagree with that, and I think the righteous will go to heaven, it's on the bible. thanks for your comment.

No, Revelation does not say that, it says Revelation 7 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed. So this amount from the tribes of Israel. We that are not from the tribes of Israel are not included in this amount. Furthermore, as I understand it, and I do not pretend my understanding here is yet complete, these will return to earth to evangelise. all the best urban

of course it is not true. and we know it. salvation is not a predetermined privilege reserved for some people. every one can be saved if s/he does believe in Jesus and does His commandments. as christians, the way to heaven is through Jesus because He is the way. other faith may have different ways, but hopefully we see each other in heaven.

yes that's what I believe too, well all we could do is follow His teaching while were here on earth, then hope that were going to heaven with Him in time.thank you for your comment.

God never put a limit on how many people can go to heaven with him. AS far as i know heaven couldn't be over crowded like Earth. It's boundless! Like you, i disagree that only 140thousand people will go to heaven. Could be less could be more. Depends on how many believers are out there and righteous too.

that's what I believe also, that no fixed number of people will go there, I believe all the righteous is entitled to be in heaven, because it's said on the bible.thank you for your comment.

Only GOD knows how many can enter heaven. Maybe they just said that only 140K can enter heaven for us to try our best not to do bad things here on earth. They wants us to be scared. Seems like they are talking, preaching to a 2-year old kid.

yes perhaps that's their intention but I just don't like the idea that out of millions of people only 140 thousand will go to heaven... that's so scary. thank you for your comment.

No one knows how many people will go to heaven. According to the bible, whoever believe in Jesus our God will go to heaven. I do not believe on people saying only 140k will go to heaven. Stick with your belief and let them have them. All you need to do is to share the gospel of God.

I agree with you zerd, I'll remain to my beliefs that every righteous will go to heaven. thank you for your comment.

How they know about it? Someone told them? I don't like mix religion and my everyday life together. There is plenty of crazy people up there and almost all of them claim that they are God's messengers.
1 Aug 11
they said it's in the bible,I respect them but I don't totally agree with this one, yes I agree with you that every religion was saying that they are the messenger of God, and sometimes they are so confusing too. but in the end it's up to us what to believe. thanks for your comment.

I saw that in the thing that they are giving out too.. I would have to completely disagree with that too, I just find it ridiculous that there is a set number of people going to heaven out of the billions from the past, present, and future.
1 Aug 11
yes that's what I told them, from billion of people only that number of righteous will go to heaven, but that's what they said, but according to them too, some righteous that God didn't chose to be with him in heaven will stay here on earth because they said in the end earth will be the new heaven. and the 140 thousand will help God to rule the heaven. thank you for your comment.

that sounds soo scary but still i respect other religion, but what is the important is that i truly have faith in God and nothing else. i think it only depends when you truly believe in God and you totally accept him in your life. then everyday you keep praying and ask for his forgiveness and of course doing good things to others.
1 Aug 11
yes me too I respect every religion but I can't help myself to disagree with this one, because for what I know righteous people will be with God in heaven.if only 140 thousand out of billion people then our chance is so thin, and it's really scary. thank you for your comment.
