Hi everyone,I love anything with curry. I would like to get your inputs on how too make a good curry. I tried a really good curry in a local restaurant at my place. I would love to make one for myself. I understand there are lots of things that go into it like the variety of spices to make the perfect dish. Can you help me out?

Well if you want to make it really easy on yourself, go to a store that sells Indian food, they have things in boxes that all you have to do is add some ingredients like water to them and what ever protein you want to use and you will have a curry dish in no time, it is very simple, just use what is in the box and follow the directions.

I had premixed curry powder. But in my country we had a basic yellow curry recipes which is just coconut milk, seafood, chillies, lemon grass, shallots, garlic, turmeric and ginger. Its pretty basic. I can just throw in anything I like. If you prefer curries with spices you can just go to spice stores and mix them according to your liking. It is better if you experiment with them. Throw in some spices in a jar and see if you like them. I have seen on TV that curry spices depends on one's taste bud.
