I regret the days that I used my time just playing games rather than use it in studying much more important thing. If only I have this mature thinking on my high school days, anyway, past is past I can't do something from the past, all I can do now is to fix what I did in the time that I have now even though its difficult.
So guys, do you have any regrets?

Yes I have lots of regrets. the perfect example is that I plan to earn $600 through online jobs. I have a goal to achieve, and even plan for it to be started at July 17. Until now I am not doing anything to start earning. I have lots of searched reviews already, i have to do my draft and start uploading it to the site to get paid. I just got paid on the job I had received last May and to think that was last May, I should be continously be receiving payment for June and July but I am so tardy. If I had put all my effort on working on it continously, without feeling tired or tardy or selfish, I should be receiving payment as big as $ 600. But what i am doing today, it is unacceptable. So that is my regrets.

That is good, you are changing yourself for the better little by little. While me, i can really earn that big amount before and I have that extraordinary determination but where is that now? I really do not know what got into me.

Yeah, that is really a big amount of dollar, hey you did made a great research. I hope I can find a way too how to maximize my earnings just like that. Anyway, about your extra determination, why not evaluate yourself again, maybe you miss something to yourself in this past month. I think you have to find something that will boost your motivation to earn $ 600 again. (Any tips for me how to earn that big money, hehe) =)

Yeah, just like me, tardy and selfish that's why I'm not very productive. About what you response here I suddenly see myself to you. But, this past month I'm doing some changes to myself little by little, I don't want to push myself so hard so suddenly to change but I want to do it in little day by day. And I can say that today, because of my little change, my earning capability online is in good state not like before, and that's why I'm smiling today. God bless you! =D

Hi axlrate!
I regret the time that I did not pursue graduate studies when I was working in a company doing job under my qualifications. In short, I was underemployed. I should have just resigned and pursued graduate studies. By this time, I should have been taking a doctoral degree.

Hey, i love to study again too, that's why I'm planning to go back study again when I have a chance, and I think you can go back too right. Do you have a plan to study this next year? I also didn't pursue my study before because of my laziness, what a terrible thinking I had on that time. That's why today I'm doing my best to do change, a change for success. Thank you for your response! God bless you! =)

Well, I'm on my second year of my masters degree. And I'm studying while working. I will take four years to finish my degree instead of just two years since I am just a part-time student.
Hey, I hope you pursue that goal of yours. Education matters. Good luck!

I regret not learning how to drive a car when I was 17 to 19 years old. I ended up buying a cottage at 19 years old in a village which didn't have a good bus service. I onwed that cottage for 14 years and didn't take up learning how to drive car until I was 30 years old. I tried to pass my practical driving test but failed it each time. I moved to a new area when I was 33 years old. It took me ages to continue learning how to drive a car. I finally passed my practical diving test last year.

Congratulations for passing the practical driving test! It feels good to learn how to drive right, you know I just practice myself how to drive last july 2010 somewhere in rizal. At first I am confuse to step and controlling the clutch, and I can't control easily the wheel, I thought it was easily to drive like what I see in the movie. And then after three days I can manage to drive and can steer the wheel easily and smooth. I'm happy for you that somehow you made it to learned how to drive and then passed the driving test even though you took ages like what you said. God bless you maximax! =D

If i am to look back on what transpired in my life, i can honestly say, i have no regrets. I had had problems in the past but it's what transformed me into what i am now. Without those problems i wouldn't be here giving you some nice expriences on life's ups and downs.
I think i have come to accept life as it is, so i enjoy it as it unfolds, because life is short, so i am making the most of it.

That was good, we really have to accept life as it is and that's true. The reason I created this topic was to let everyone to discuss all their regrets on the past and to know how that change them. If you can see all the response, everyone are trying to change and make themselves better everyday. It's so good to hear that everyone is doing good for themselves. God bless you! =)

I do have a lot of regrets but I try to think of them as a lesson I've learned. There are really a bunch of mistakes I've made and would love to make them right but when I think of them in a different way, they are also something I have done and has taught me a lot and helped me grow.

Hey that is correct my friend, every mistakes will teach us what we will do next time and what path we have to choose when we walk again. Well for me mistakes become bad when people don't learn form it and do it again and again. But mistake is a good teacher from those people that learn from it well and make it as a point to do some changes to their selves. God bless you! =D

I regret the times that I focus on working hard and not enjoying my younger years, I mean going out with friends or having a boyfriend. But don't get me wrong I'm happy and contented with my loving hubby and I'm soon to be mom...

I know that feeling, I wasted so much money before in buying too many playstation one games disk. And you know what I did to all of that, I gave it all to my nephew because he request it, but he didn't take care all the cd and now when I'm think of it, I think of all the money that I wasted for all of that games, and yes I enjoyed playing but I also wasted my time there, instead of become serious in study, I used most of my time playing games. That's why I don't play games now, I just learned my lesson. And you know I also learn now to how to save money properly. Thank you for your response, God bless you! =)

I do have my share of regrets, and I am sure that I am not the only one here who does. There are things that I wish I could do differently, but unfortunately that is not possible. I can't just go back in the past and do things differently. Time management was always an issue for me. That's probably why I wish I could go back to my university days and maybe try harder to manage my time better. I didn't do terribly in quite a few classes, but I still wish I could have done better in some classes, and just manage my time better. That is one regret I have, although it's certainly not the only one I have.

Well, time management is an issue to me too. I often do less things because I can't handle properly my time. Anyone really do want to go back in time if its possible to go back there, to fix things that they regret. Actually I did make a discussion about this here in mylot, the title was "chance to turn back time"and I see that almost every respondent there love to go back in time if there's a chance. Actually I do have many regrets too to share but I chose only one to discuss, and also like you I didn't make my all best in studying before that's why I want to study again in the future to do what I did not in the past. Thank you for your response! God bless you! =)

I regret not being able to save a part of my salary very payday since I got my job. It should be something that has to be done by the youth so as not to regret as they grew older. It is hard to say "If only I started saving when I was stil young..."

Yes, I agree with that. We can't make a promise with ourselves with that easily, like I'm really gonna save money from now on, and then tomorrow we can't control to buy something or we have pay for something. Life is unpredictable so also our action, sometimes we make a decision without thinking wisely so we always end up in regrets. "If only I started saving when I was still young" yeah that is hard to say when its too late.

The only regret I have in life is about not doing the correct course at the correct time. Even though today I am leading a good life and can save some money after making ends meet, I still think if I had studied a little further after graduation may be I could have been in a better position. Its just a thought and in future I may consider doing that course and complete my dream. It will help me be more stable in life and also get me more happiness. So yes I regret but at the same time I am trying my best to get over it and complete my couse in the next 1 year. Hope all goes well..

Just like what I'm thinking for myself, because I'm not satisfied for my past college year. I think I have to study again if I have a chance in the future, my heart tells me that I have to try it again one more time in a big popular university. I hope we succeed in our paths my friend, and let us do our best for the future. Thank you for your response! God bless you! =)

Oh I can really relate to this topic.
Just now, I regret that I spent the whole day sitting in front of my pc. I am not playing games but I was reading various sites and as well managing the earning sites that I use. I regret it because instead of studying for my upcoming exams, I wasted my weekends :(( once again... what an unproductive weekened.
Moving on, ( Q_Q I really have a lot of regrets) I was a consistent honor student since elementary and graduated salutatorian in high school. Then upon entering college, something very bad and weird happened to me, I lost focus on my real purpose in entering university. I became severely addicted to mmorpg's like flyff and for the first time in my life... I failed a subject and got severely low grades on the rest of subjects for that semester. I was really out of myself at that time since I kept on playing till morning even though I have exams on that day, I took exams without studying and felt nothing in spite of failing... I just played and played my stupid online game.
My success in the virtual world was inversely proportional to my academic standing and as well my life. I had a horrible diet and became overweight... I kept on failing major subjects until my third year in college and because of that obviously I won't be able to graduate on time since I am delayed already for more than a year. The worst part is that I am taking up electrical engineering, a course not suitable for lazy people, talk about math and physics (subjects you can't simply memorize to understand and pass but takes a lot of practice by solving problems).
To top it up, I am enrolled in my country's state university which belongs to the top universities of the world.
For some reason, I failed to realize all those things... It was definitely impossible for a student to survive in college without studyin' at all. It does not matter if you're average, intelligent or even a genius, our brains rust if we don't use them.
I asked myself, what happened to me? I know for a fact that my loneliness contributed a lot because I was left alone in my country since my family is in abroad, by the way I grew up and finished high-school in the Middle East, I went to the Philippines to pursue college.
My first year was really toughest... I was in a new environment and have no friends at all. This lead me to play flyff again just to be able to communicate with some high school classmates who are playing that game but most of all it was my stupid way of compensating for the loneliness that I am suffering in the real world.
Oh gosh! It's 11 pm here already, I need to be early tomorrow :(. Anyway, to sum it up, I am currently trying my best to fix myself. I lost significant amount of weight and fats and working on defining my abs (just have 4 packs atm lol), then just last February of this year I finally left the virtual world and my past time now is earning money online and also trying to learn linux. Also, I am definitely trying my best to kill the laziness within me... and hopefully with GOD's help and guidance I will be able refocus on my goals.
That's all, thanks for the wonderful topic. Also thank you if you ever read my whole drama LOL!

Your story was interesting to read, not about your failure but your determination to change it for good even though its hard to do. My life is kind of similar to your life, that I also wasted many years just for the sake of happiness that the games bring to me. Like you I'm also a transfer student when I'm a third year on high school. It's not easy on that time because everything in my surrounding is new, don't have friends around. I just quit playing games since last 2010, and that was Grand Chase, and I started to search about how to earn online since january 2011. If only I know how to earn online on the past years, I will not use my time in something that I will not earn money. I understand your struggle my friend and I'm doing my best too to make my life different than the old and to be successful in the future.

My mom wont let me do house chores and would just let me study when I was single. I did great at school, but then when I married, I didnt know anything about being a wife... slowly I learned everything by myself, and now I know. But sometimes I am thinking if I did wanted to learn at that time, then maybe I will be even a better wife. But its never too late, I know I am doing all my best to be one, so Idont regret it that much.

Yes, that's true, even though we regret some things in the past its never too late for everyone to make a change and to improve ourselves right. Like some of the respondent said, it is the past that made us today, so whether we regret the past or not, it always depend on us on how we will make some change to it. And see, we all make our best now to repair those regrets and make our self much more good for the future. Thank you for your response, God bless you! =)

I do have regrets in life. However, I manage somehow to deal with it. Life gives many thing to be regrets it does matter on how you deal with it. I always said to myself to never live your life with regrets or else it will ruin you. Do always our best for the things we must do and never mind other people thinking bad things about you.

I want to change all my regrets into a strength that I need to be successful in life and of coures like what you said, we have to live life with no regrets. Just go forward and learn from the bad past, even though we regret many things whats more important now to live and create something new for ourselves today. Thank you for your response zerd87! i think what we did in the past is part of what we are now, and every mistakes that we did give a lesson that made us what we are now, so for me I don't have regrets, but that doesn't mean that i like everything I did in the past, just that I don't regret any of that.

Yeah, I agree with what you said. But you can't deny that you can feel regret when you didn't succeed in doing something you need to do. I understand of what you mentioned above and all of it is true, but I can't say to myself that I have no regrets because I did many wrong things in my past, and I am doing my best now to fix all of it. Nice response my friend, well said. God bless you! =)
