yes, I think so.Sachin has much better record than Lara & Ponting. moreover he is a evergreen player. He has max. no. of centuries & max. runs in both test as well as one day cricket. Also he is playing fron a long time & at this stage his hunger of runs is not stopped. he is really great than others two.

To me all are good players and when it comes to choosing one amongst there three I would go for Sachin. Leaving all his records aside I think that Sachin is a master class and can do wonders on the cricket field. He has contributed so much towards Indian cricket and is a role model to any new comer to cricket. Even at the age of 38 his hunger for runs is never ending. He is a legend of the game and has many times been compared to the great Sir Donald Bradman. I hope he plays a lot more cricket and get more and more runs before he decides to call it a day..

I do agree with keenan_savio.Sachin is the greatest among the great. You can not compare other with Sachin.I think God makes Sachin for cricket specially.
He is a born genius and a role model for all the cricketers of the world.

I would prefer Ponting as the best player of the three mentioned. He has scored more runs in less number of matches rather than both. In fact, he crossed the first five thousand runs very faster as far as the cricket history is considered. Another significant player to note upon is Jacques Kallis for his fastest 5000 runs competing with Ricky ponting. The next player I would pick up is Brian Lara. He is a Powerful left-handed batsman with amazing cricketing skills. He is also the leading test scorer for one day for his scoring of 400 runs smashing off Mathew Hayden's record. That's the way Lara plays. And Sachin Tendulkar is also one among the best players in the world. He has scored the maximum hundreds in cricketing history but his batting average is not in consistency and kept deteriorating now and then but overall a reliable player.

In my opinion Sachin Tendulkar is the best cricketer the world has ever witnessed. To me Sachin is incomparable with other players. His batting records clearly depicts so. He is really a batting genius. I wish he would score his hundredth century as soon as possible.

yes I agree with you..
the best thing i like about sachin is he plays classical shots which are beautiful to watch and also he scores maximum no. of runs with minimum power used. most of these shots are behind the wicket bt still he can play shots all along the ground.....
