My dog, Goldie, had died today. I found her dead when I woke up this afternoon at 2:00pm. I called my father after I could not reach my mother. My father and my brother had to dig a hole and burry her. I watch them. So any of myLot friends or not could you please leave me a message.
Thank you.

I know that feeling, a few times over. We recently had to put down our momma cat and her litter because of feline leukemia and feline aids. But the sentimentalist in me knows that your beloved Goldie as well as all our critters are off in the ever after romping under the watchful eye of the creator and waiting for us to come along and rejoin the pack..Enjoy!

I am so sorry about your dog. Losing a pet is a very hard thing to go through.

Oh, I am so very sorry over the loss of your beloved pet. I know how hurtful it is to lose a dog or cat. I've lost both over the years and it is hard to bear.
Just remember that you are not alone. There are many people who have experienced the pain that you are going through. In time, you will start to feel better.

hi misslindsie I am so sorry as I know how much our dogs mean to us, itws like she was a member of your family. My sympathy goes out to
you.Was she ill or what? It will leave a hole in your life I
know.My mom without asking me had my elderly dog whom she was
caring for while I was in the hospital recovering from a hysterectomy put to sleep. the vet asked her why she was doing
this as my dog was not sick or had any symptoms warranting killing
her. Her only excuse was she wanted to get a much smaller dog that was young. she had not been given permission by ,me to do this at all. I was in shock and for a few days I just could not talk to my mom as I was to angry with her. She had actually signed Pat my dog over to me as she wanted to get a smaller dog and Pat actually was only taken care of and loved by me.
So legally if I had wanted to make a stink I could have but she was my mom and I would never dishonor myown mother that way.
If I was near to you I would pop over and just give you a hug of sympathy knowing how much your dog meant to you. but hey I can send you my hugs.

Thank you. Goldie hurt herself because we forgot to take out the garbage and she got into it and she broke her hip. It was hard the last several days and we just let this be.
Thanks anyway.

I personally want to share your sorrow as i know what you are going through very well. Even i lost my dog few years back and that too because of wrong medicine. I still regret taking him to that doctor..and i will always curse that doctor.
Having a pet, caring for him and loving him makes him a family member. It is really bad to lose a family member and heart breaking as well. You will have to face this situation stongly and boldly. The best way to overcome this is adopting a new dog and naming him GOLDI again. I did that and seriously telling you, THIS WORKS.Your mindset will be changed.
I feel sorry..Realllly.
Take care.

Thanks. I felt so bad when my parents never think about getting pet insurance for my dog. It would help her and find out what is wrong with her.

Yes, since they are closer to the house, because they were at work, when I called my father after I tried to call my mother.

hi misslindsie, it is not enough for me to say I'm sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. Our best k9 friend, Haru, passed away on the 23rd of November in 2010 and Marlon, on the 28th of April this year. They were like family members. But, if Goldie was in pain, her passing was a relief for her, poor baby. We all have to go sometime. But, all dogs go to heaven for sure, having been loyal, protective, loving and fun friends while they were with us. My prayers are with you so you'll be strong enough to be able to deal with this situation.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and sadness. I have lost pets and it is very hard to accept because they become like members of your family. My comfort was always in believing one day we will see our departed pets again. I think they have spirits and their energy lives on forever. God Bless.
