Basically this "deal" is just Congress admitting they are too incompetent and cowardly to do their job... so they will give Obama a $7 trillion blank check and hope that some "committee" in the future will do their jobs for them.. later.
When I was a parachute rigger, if I did my job the way they do theirs, drop zones would be blood baths.

obama, congress and the senate are useless.if anyone looks to them for real leadership they will be led off a cliff. a quote comes to mind.....

hi parated2k while I have at times been at odds with your ideas now I have to agree wholeheartedly as I have watched so many mistakes Obama has made and that our congress has also made and now this
one is really scary.to think I like a lot of other people thought he was going to really carry out his ideas in his speeches and instead we are more in debt than ever and the jobless situation here in our ow country is still not good. So now hes bluffed Congress into this so he thinks he will get reelected. Well now I know one person who will not vote for him again. I may be wrong as I am not much on politics but is this not the biggest debt the US has ever made?

Have you been listening to Michele Bachmann, Ted? A BLANK check can't be for $7 trillion!
I will agree with you about the incompetence in Congress, though. I guess that's what happens when a bunch of people who know nothing decide to put a bunch of people just like them in office!

I agree with you. The deal is nothing but smoke and mirrors trying to appear they are solving the problem because everyone is afraid of being blamed for a default. The truth is the US credit rating will probably be downgraded anyway because of the unsustainable debt.

Yeah well what did you expect from a bunch of career politicians they where going to showboat for as long as they could trying to put there fans into the fighting action for Obama in 2012 if they are Democrats and if they are Republicans they are trying to fire up their base to get them moving for the Primaries to Win the Nomination. This was nothing more than a political move that both sides played to get the free media buzz around them and their Ideas so they could maybe reach someone that they haven't reached yet that may now vote for them. You don't thing when Obama stormed out of the meeting that it was something other than a political move.
Just watch tomorrow they will be talking about how hard they worked and how good the Bill is that they both made some compromises to make sure that the United States didn't default.
I swear they have gone back to being the Democratic Republicans.

No one wants to do anything that will hurt their re~election possibilities...Hussein O wants control into what he thinks will be his next term. This "Super Committee" that they will be appointing will take away the power from the Elected Congressmen even if they are idiots. It gives us just that much less say as Americans. We cannot even harass our elected official with emails and calls because they are no longer involved in the decision making process.
Where did you get the 7 trillion number?
