If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you like to be and why?

I suppose it would be in Canada, because that is where our son is at the moment. It would only be for a short while though as he will be home here in Australia in a fortnight. :)

Canada must be gorgeous too. You must miss your son, but it seems he'll be home soon. I gather he'll be home for Christmas?

Yes, he is home now Bunny. Arrived almost a fortnight ago, actually on the Saturday and started work on the Tuesday. They wanted him to start on the Monday, but he said "NO" as he had a few things to sort out during business hours.

Just an update on this one Bunny. Our son is still home, working as well but on night shift at present, although today he told us his hours are changing from 4.00 pm - 2.00 am although he often works much later than that. From Monday he will be working from 5.00 pm to 5.00 am, so that will mean being very quiet in our house during the day, so he can sleep. It takes him just over an hour to get to work and the same to get home. Once the season finishes, he will be on his way back to Canada again. Guess where we are saving to go next year?

I would be in Hawai'i because I have alot of family there. Some of them would say that I'm lucky that I was born on the mainland, but environment means much more to me than money. Aloha!

And Hawai'i is so beautiful. I used to love watching the old Elvis Presley movies to see the beautiful blue waters. Very nice!

Oh, it's difficult when you're so far away. Hope you can get there soon.

If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I'd be in Indiana. My parents live there and my father has cancer. My Grandmother also lives there and she's 102 and not in great health either. I'd like to go up and see both of them while they are still here. If all were well there - I'd pick Hawaii because the pictures of it look great and I've never been there.

I hope you get your wish and can be with your father and your grandmother. 102 is such a wonderful age! I hope she sees 103, and even more I hope your father has a miraculous recovery. Am sending prayers and positive thoughts his way and yours. And one day may you get to Hawaii.

I love the French culture, so I'd like to be in Paris.... but another country that I find very interesting - maybe because it's very very far from Italy - is Australia, I'd like to visit countries like yours, and who knows? I could meet some nice people like you....

Oh Australia is so diverse from Italy - or any part of Europe. The culture here is so mixed - because we have so many different nationalities living here. And even the country is different from one corner to the next - Melbourne is the cultural centre with lots of theatres, restaurants and the best shopping :) A financial and commercial centre, and the second largest city in Australia. It's in the temperate zone so not supposed to be too hot though our summer is dragging out through autumn. Sydney is the largest and oldest city in the country. It's considered the economic powerhouse of the nation and the country's capital in everything but name.

Oh, that is so easy, I would love to visit Italy. I have always wanted to go to Italy and see the sights and to experience real Italian food. Plus it would so romantic to walk the streets of Italy with my husband, my one true love.

I have been to Italy and I love it there. It really is as romantic as you expect - and I was there as a teenager - 15 and 16 - and fell in love with Rome and Venice. Also Vecenza. I've never been to Japan but would love to visit there. It sounds so gorgeous.

I also would like to go to Japan someday. My good friend Miwa is from Japan and it would be so neat to see her home country. And of course try some sushi.

My mother is overseas in Florida USA and I would love to spend Christmas with her. She's been over there for 5 years now and every Christmas I just miss her. So I wish I was in Florida or if she could come back home.
